I reckon essendon supporters are more nuffy, they know that it's bad but they cling on that it will turn around soon. The real question is how the **** Essendon's membership increased.
Like in the next 10 years.Whereas Melbourne supporters cling on for 50 or so years.they cling on that it will turn around soon.

Yeah and when the 50% of those members who are over 60 die off we'll have about 10k members left
Yeah hard to tell with those stats. I attended a game at the mcc and so I scanned in with an mcc ticket and not my membership. Am I a non member on that day? I think a lot of our supporters are mcc members so they would prop up home game averages at the mcg. Unless they're getting their data from literally members scanning in it's hard to tell.Average home attendance i would presume included unsigned members and opposition supporters, i don't know why they worded it as "members who turn up"
If we used those statistics with just one home game against Collingwood we'd be labelled as having a 100% attendance rate or something stupidly high
the way these percentages work would be more applicable and interesting with the interstate teams along with listing their ground capacities
Most of our mcc members would be mfc members as you can add it on for like $80Yeah hard to tell with those stats. I mean yeah, it's the graphic is literally from 'Useless AFL Stats' and the home game crowds also include (I assume) Alice, Ballarat, Bunbury etc.Average home attendance i would presume included unsigned members and opposition supporters, i don't know why they worded it as "members who turn up"

I like Chaplin and think he'll make a good head coach one day, but I'm happy for him to move. This playing group needs as many fresh voices and perspectives as it can get - a fresh start would be good for all involved. As per the AFL site Richmond are looking to poach Chaplin for bonus contracted until 2026.
Given the new coach would likely want to clear house it might be a convenient way offset some of the Goodwin pay out and avoid any potential pay out to Chaplin.
Agreed.I like Chaplin and think he'll make a good head coach one day, but I'm happy for him to move. This playing group needs as many fresh voices and perspectives as it can get - a fresh start would be good for all involved.
