Who else.

Who else but another recently retired player to go along with Shuey and Hurn 🤦‍♂️

So Naitanui potentially replaces Turnball?
Hear what you’re saying and would prefer an outsider however maybe beggars can’t be choosers as don’t see any coaches lining up to wanting to come here just at the moment considering where we are lol.

Sumich going off his face about jobs for the boys and asking what coaching qualifications and if those three have…

Wasn’t his first coaching job as assistant at his old club West Coast under his old teammate Worsfold?

Ruck coaches are usually only part time and wouldn’t be well paid.

So we aren’t going to be dragging one from across the country as it wouldn’t be financially viable for anyone.

We have no choice but to look in our own backyard (Perth) for something that is a rather specialised position so it’s not a surprise that it might be a former player in that role. Like Turnbull was. I also think Dean Irving was a ruck coach at some point for us

Not sure how much spare time Naitanui has but he’s clearly employed by the club already in some capacity so he wouldn’t be the worst option as ruck coach

Jono Giles did it for a bit too after he retired.

Sumich going off his face, any more recent news?

Here it is.. right at the start after that idiot Declan Kelly thinks Sumich should coach the origin team with Hardie as his selector…

Oh and I know there is TDS but they suffer from a massive Simpson derangement syndrome

Naismith did with the Dockers as Ruck/development coach.

NN probably looks at the ruck stocks and thinks he can’t really work with that. I guess a no pressure job because most would think the same.

The eagles could do no worse than see if Ross McQueen would be interested in a role in development.. proven performer at wafl level
