Wouldn’t be surprised if a few are drafted, Lewis, Anderson and Holt all stand a chance. Hopefully we can get McEntee back.

True that, but whats been so impressive is the players stepping up from the reserves that fit seamlessly into the seniors. But we should have Mitch Crowden back at some point next year too and as you say, if McEntee comes back that alone will cover for 2 of the quality players who may leave. Then we are no doubt looking at others to bring in. We are in a really good spot right now I think.

The Aish that plays for Pulteney Old Socks seems to believe he will and that if so, he may not play SANFL due to the time commitments required.

I’ve been discussing this with friends post the GF. There’s good comparisons between Sturt and Glenelg in holding onto good interstate players that haven’t been able to make it at the AFL level.
Look at Hosie and McBean, how good have they been for Glenelg!
For Sturt we’ve got McFadyen, Anderson, Conforti, Giacometti, Perez and you could throw in Daiken from interstate comps, it’s all very well to get them here but you still need to find them work, accommodation, develop them and help them settle in so they stay for more than a couple of years. They can be the icing on top of having a good club culture and junior development programs.

Norwood have done very well with their Tassie connection too.

Magden a huge loss to our reserves side. A terrific SANFL player his loss in the finals was a major reason for our poorer performances. He was also a terrific on field leader his voice and direction so important for our young backline. He will make a great coach i am certain. Richmonds gain!! Lets hope we keep tabs on him and in time he may return to coach some aspect of the Crows.
