Re: 'Alleged' rumours resurfacing ...

Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Simply put, don't be a dick.

Thanks all!

I feel the way Hudson okeffe is tracking he could actually turn out to be a pretty similar player to a shannon neal if not better
My understanding is that we are looking to HoF as a Forward / Ruck not strictly a Forward.
I do like what I c from HoF, love his aggression at the ball and his competitiveness

More of the Weitering and Walsh “no BS” & “clear out if you don’t want to be here” attitude and less of this type of answer from Cripps…

I want a ruthless playing group. (Think of Luke Hodge and the brutal standards he set when leader. Result? Multiple flags.)

Don’t get me started on seeing a jovial Acres in the Geelong room on Friday night with an SDK badge on. **** me.

This. Crippa wants to be mates with everyone. He's over 30 and we are entering a new phase. Time to relinquish the captaincy. I'd gladly go with Weiters and Walsh as co-captains.

With that level of confidence, what are we getting?
Not sure on the return but I’m confident he leaves to either the Suns or Sydney. The club will do what they can to get the best outcome for picks next year to help with the Cody situation plus a player most likely

The son of a giant once a wildcat may be on the watch list. "Early doors."

(Personal note on this one: I don't see it happening as intention is to re-sign, I believe)

Oliver Hayes-Brown?

Former wildcats basketball player.
OOC at seasons end.
208cm tall so his parents must be giants, naturally.

What he actually wants is to come back to WA to finish his career.

I'd bookmark it for next off season.
If it's on his mind, now's the time, do it now. In or out, don't care who you are, its line in the sand (or dressing room) time.
I'm tired of being the loving, loyal, diehard supporter getting f#$%ed over every year. It's all business now and I want to see another premiership so whatever it takes it takes.

It will be what it will be. He will be gone though, I can pretty much guarantee that.

What members think is a good enough trade outcome probably won’t eventuate.
Can’t imagine the board will allow a deal that will get them thrown out.
You can’t have a new CEO publicly saying you won’t trade a player, privately saying we’d do it if it’s a win, and then crumbling and trading out a contracted superstar with 4 years to go.
It would also condemn Voss in his last year.

It doesn’t make any sense that we would sell him for unders.

I love the commentary we will do what they can to get a good return, if l am not mistaken we are in the driver's seat here and not getting a strong return is not acceptable.

There is a word conflict resolution, quality players are hard to find, not sure we are doing enough here losing three high quality players in one off season, we are going backwards before we move forward & giving a coach in the final year of his contract little chance of survival.

Why are we helping improve GC with a star forward who is contracted for 4 more years for Alex Davies and a high F1 (for the sake of argument).... something is nqr

Is there some evidence our club and medical team have been negligent with him perhaps? Maybe Charlie and his management are willing to go nuclear if so.
I have no knowledge of the situation just spitballing.

Hoping this is all true and there is no suitor for Charlie, who had a poor year due to injury and poor management by the club

Let him know he is still loved and valued, and that we as a club have learnt from our mistakes.

But it’s now time to move on and commit. He is contracted. No club is prepared to pony up for him. Man up and show the footy world what they missed out on.

A fit, happy and healthy Charlie makes us so much better.

We win a higher % of games when he doesn't play.

And the Grand Final hasn't even been played yet. Absolutely think he gets to the GC.

Charlie waiting till after GF to indicate his intentions to wanting to join Geelong. Can’t see how a trade happens
Neither but one can dream about a deal for Neale and O’Sullivan.

Ready to go bookends for a decade.
