Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Should be finding himself in the VFL Blues if he turns in the same type of football he dished up in 2025.

One of the worst seasons witnessed and should have been dropped earlier.

Yes he had a poor year in 2025 but he was coming back from shoulder reco surgery wasn`t it? He has been very good in his previous seasons since arriving from Freo......especially during our brief time in the finals, and let`s hope he finds that form again as he is one of our few players that runs both back and forward during games. It sounds like people on here are looking for scapegoats to take out their frustrations on, and shouldn`t that be the club as a whole, not just individuals....

Come with me on this one Stamos, I think the right response at this juncture is 'f.ck the members'. Do what is right and only right by a list build stand point and nothing more.

Pretty sure Stamos comments are not to give up Charlie in a fire sale like some are suggesting, we need to be well compensated, they are two very different things.

You’ll get pushback but I largely agree. IF we don’t get what we deem is a great trade for us, and IF Charlie can’t commit to being 100% all in at Carlton, it’s the reserves for as long as it takes.

The alternative - fringe players of little value and late firsts / second round draft picks - should not and will not move the needle for this situation.

He's an interesting watch. I was at the VFL game last year where he absolutely tore us a new one - up against Young and S.Durdin - but was taking massive hangers all day. It was a real eye opener.

Austin was there as well, so he would have seen what I saw first hand.

I heard a recent interview with his father on SEN - said that Finbarr has only been playing the game for a handful of years and still learning the caper, but his improvement each year has been huge. Also said he loves it at North, hoping to get more opportunities.

Having said all that, I was talking to our gardener recently who's a mad North supporter. Reckons that they may not offer him a new contract after picking up Cooper Trembath in the MSD.

Back surgery which would have severely hampered him and then the usual shoulder issues resurfaced.

Unfortunately the liabilities in his game outshone his assets this season.
