I’ve only just boarded my flight back to Brisbane now, but honestly the atmosphere when you’re returning home after an away win in general is amazing.. the airport is always full of interstate supporters with their own footy stories to share! Tullamarine airport today was a lot quieter than last year though.. probably because we didn’t have to share the airport with Sydney Swans supporters

Enjoy It was a really lovely day in Fitzroy, you might have been here earlier. Lots of little gatherings everywhere, in parks and pubs etc. A very relaxed and satisfied mood.

Yeah the Lions always host an after party type function at Brunswick Street Oval the day after the Grand Final every year they play in one. That’s regardless of whether we win or lose. Then lunch at the Royal Derby with my Roys friends. They replayed the Grand Final at least twice before I had to leave to get my stuff and head to the airport.
