What is a fact is any pies player up for trade in any given year ain't worth a bag of beans according to the media, but anyone we go after is suddenly a star on the rise or a gun even if they're 33. Remember when Noble wasn't worth two bob last year but we all knew different and he went to brain it at the suns.Disagree, Hill is on a 4 year deal which gives Collingwood the upper hand.
Sure he had personal issues, but no comparison to JUH!
Hills problems seem also to have been ironed out.
Cleary is talking shit imho!
Worse case we keep him kills it in the next 2 years!
Then you might have Tasmania breathing down his neck
Pies hold the cards with Hill, its overs or he stays!
Both outcomes i would be content.
Would probably be happier if he stays
Arguably when Hill is firing there is no more dangerous small forward then him
that wasn't the questionWe wouldn’t want to give him or Josh up though.

Direct quote:For anyone that can access the article GW has already addressed this.
August 15 the Age “Greame Wright opens up on Carlton, the Voss call and leaving the Pies” he was asked directly about Elliott and part of the response was “I presume he stays at Collingwood. I wouldn’t think he’s leaving…”. My take is they asked the question a while back (which Gleeson seemingly already knew) and Elliott has indicated he’s not interested. I doubt this update is anything more than a check in that it’s still a no.
Yes but who do we sell to get it? (Not Daicos)There will be a club that will make out like bandits when Tassie poaches one of their players.
The draft picks compensation will be elite.
Nope, not going through that again. His father did it in 1983, Darcy stays!Darcy moore is the only OOC player in 2028
In other words it won’t happen, but they’ve asked the question. Good on ‘em I say because it’s the exact same thing we’ve done with Curnow.Direct quote:
“I presume he stays at Collingwood. I wouldn’t think he’s leaving, that’s my view, but I’d certainly be open-minded if Jamie is a free agent and wanted to move. But I haven’t heard that he’s moving.”
We're talking about Tassies pick 5 and who we can sell. NOT Daicos x 2 or Moore.10 pages have I missed anything?
Or we still going on about how much of a flog may is and how we can change JUH?
This is getting way out of handWe're talking about Tassies pick 5 and who we can sell. NOT Daicos x 2 or Moore.

if they offer 5 pick 1s for Nick, I'll think about it, then say no.This is getting way out of hand
Tassie won’t even agree to a stadium and we want pick 5?![]()
I don’t think Hobart is cool enough for our Mr. Darcy.Darcy moore is the only OOC player in 2028
They've been banging on about Ashcroft all week. There was this other bloke called Rowell who won the Brownlow... but the only player they can think of for Tassie, is Nick. These blokes need to STFU![]()

What about Sam Darcy? He's a Unicorn, apparently....They've been banging on about Ashcroft all week. There was this other bloke called Rowell who won the Brownlow... but the only player they can think of for Tassie, is Nick.

and David Putney
It would be absurd mismanagement of trying to build a list from scratch, to my eye.Pretty sure the afl wouldn’t let Tassie blow their sign on dollars like that. What a moron.
Bet he’d love Dark Mofo & all the hikingI don’t think Hobart is cool enough for our Mr. Darcy.
Just to present the opposing view the sign on bonus, player salary and marketing opportunities as a marquee player would be huge. The AFL is designing it to be hard to resist. The hard part would be lack of on field success.Everyone would have their own view on this, but for someone earning well over a mil a year, I am not sure it would move the needle when it would require a move to Tassie, ceasing to be a one club player, etc. If we are talking about Nicky D, I don't think that would be a compelling number on its own.
He chose $3m because that’s the maximum they can spend on a single player with the sign on bonus. He also chose 2028 not 2029 when he enters FA because they no longer have access to the bonus in 2028.Pretty sure the afl wouldn’t let Tassie blow their sign on dollars like that. What a moron.
