Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Been reported Suns can’t get Petracca AND Curnow.

I think Suns have figured they can get both Trac and JUH for a cheaper price then Curnow alone. Makes sense, although I personally wouldn't take the risk on juh. It'll be interesting to see if they pivot back to curnow if they miss trac or just back what they've got.

I actually think Suns are missing a trick not going for Curnow. He could draw fans through the gates like no player they've ever had. Be what Buddy was to Sydney. Think they are missing this part.

I can't talk to their salary cap but my guess is that with Flanders and Humphrey potentially going, with a reduced deal for Curnow, it's possible. JUH is a throw at the dartboard last gasp backstop if they can't get Curnow. He's still a focus (with Petracca).

JUH will be a low cost, but his impact at either end of the scale could be huge. He could be a toxic germ on the playing group OR he turns it all around and becomes a huge piece of an attempted premiership winning team puzzle. Add Trac to the latter and wow.

I’m gonna guess both trade wise and salary cap as Trac and Charlie would be around 2 mill coming into their cap but Cal Twomey stated yesterday they can’t get both.

I think we’ve tried your way before. Many times. Sack the coach. The players control the decision and choose when to play and when to not play. Sounds very familiar.

It’s time to try this different approach. Keep the coach. Build back up and get rid of the players that are pick and choose when they perform or aren’t prepared to put in the work.

Agree wholeheartedly, and as supporters, we need to be realistic in terms of what a "pass mark" for Voss is next year.

Unless we get a superstar coming through the door if Charlie departs (i.e. Butters) now, then it's a transitional year. Salary cap war chest going into 2026 FA and we go bang 2027.

If an A-grader is secured this trade period, then by all means top four is the aspiration.

I can just hear the supporters after 3 rounds next year if we're 1-2 already calling for his head... then the circus rolls into town again.
