The Melbourne environment hasn't exactly been the best in recent years. So maybe he needs a change in environment to rediscover some of his form.

The only question is , what trade compensation are Melbourne seeking?

Is it a case of, the greater the trade offer the lower the new clubs financial commitment will be?

Can definitely rule out trading a first rounder for a 28 yr old player.
We should get Clarry because it must have been tough playing with May. And we should get May because it must have been tough playing with Carry.

Couldn’t agree more say what you want about Oliver but if they pay $700k and we have to pay only $800k that’s not bad for us! Then unlike Melbourne we have Pendles, Steele ect to pull him up if he out of line like Dangerfield kind of does for smith at cats
Or just send him to meet Maynard down a dark alley. He'd straighten him out quick smart.

And 0 brownlow votes from it.
So makes you wonder that maybe he wasn't hurting with his touches.
I think the 5 years remaining on his contract would be a strong disincentive, even if Melbourne pay a big chunk.
If he doesn't change his ways, he could be a long term disaster.
His best footy is strong, but how likely would we be to get it?

Does anyone from the Pies even read this forum or care for our opionions?
Or is it just a bunch of one-eyed Collingwood fans discussing our club's trade affairs like it's our day jobs :laughv1:
