I only look at blight as free hit depth to replace Dean. I doubt it’s a question of may or blight

I doubt it is a test we will take on. Will be interesting to see what Melbourne ask for him. We traded Grundy for pick 27.

In 2022 Adelaide traded Billy Frampton for a future third, which is essentially nothing.

Now he is a premiership player whose performance on Andrews in the GF is becoming more and more of legendary performance given Andrews dominance in the last 2 grand finals.

We are pretty good at developing defensive players, so maybe fly has seen something in blight that he believes can be developed.

Not even close. Titch is the antithesis of Oliver. Known for his dedication to getting himself into shape, a fantastic person off the field and around the club.

My mate who is a Richmond fan , also plays suburban footy at a very good standard.
Thinks Blight is a definite upgrade on Frampton.
Better in defending, better in disposal.
Personally i have never heard of him

I think he would be fine at Pies . Melb has poor culture. He may be a bit loose , but hes no loser

I find it interesting to hear who we are linked to. I was wondering if the club genuinely thinks it can go again. I personally don’t see us seriously contending but happy to be wrong.

But besides Mihocek we aren’t really losing anyone to gain picks/younger players obviously outside Buller but I believe he is considered to be traded for a future 3rd.

I think they erred with their list management. I suspect they were happy with Gibcus, Miller and Young as the primary options and they have a lot of talls so were happy to move on from Blight. Curveball comes along with Young moving to WC and all of a sudden the call to delist looks questionable. I’m not convinced this is a good because it’s a real sideways one from Dean, but the cost is hopefully a rookie list spot so not one I’ll be questioning.
