Jury is still out (I feel) on Ned. Played well in a handful of games but is also a turnover merchant who panics under pressure.
But agree - one club's trash could well be another's treasure.

I'm confused? You thought we should have dropped Ed Allan? It's been clear under Fly that young players are only one bad performance away from being dropped. The senior players are allowed longer stretches of bad form. You can see the benefit in Hawthorn's team in letting young players get 50 games under their belt quickly.

It would be a joke if Melbourne are openly telling Oliver he’ll play VFL, and wanting to salary dump him, to then think they could demand a first round draft pick. They’ve shown their hand. They’re desperate to get him off the books. Well half of him off the books!

I would imagine part of his appeal is his huge tank and ability to play back, fwd and ruck in a pinch. Would save us from having to think of playing McStay back, for instance
