Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

We may have thought we could keep Curnow, get Humphrey and still get Cody before it looked like the bidding rules would change. It'd be a stretch but maybe possible. If the bidding rules change as expected then it would be impossible.

Yeah, it’s imo really strange his management are barking up one tree. But bailey seems to be going the opposite way?
If it were just a hypothetical test the waters, then wouldn’t his manager just do that discreetly behind the scenes?
To me, the actions Bailey is taking atm, seems like his actually pretty serious at looking to come home.

I dont think GC wanting Trac will hurt us in race for Humphrey. If Humphrey wants to leave he'll pick who he wants to play for. We can do a deal and so can Melbourne, so shouldn't be a problem either way.

Can’t help but feel he is a TDK compo plus late first rounder early second

We send TDK compo and acres and gov to WCE for their pick 2 and we pass it on for Humphrey and a. Second rounder

Not sure how we land Cody but maybe that’s a next year problem. Hard to tell given afl have provided rules

If Charlie is going to swans then maybe it’s TDK compo plus Sydney this year pick for Humphrey, maybe with a second rounder coming back to help Dean bid

Pick 4 and pick 25.
They currently hold picks 6, 14, 17, 34 and want to get petraca and possibly juh
Pick 9 would actually help them heaps with what they need

2024 (GF year) Florent finished 7th in the B&F
2023 6th
2022 (GF year) 10th
2021 9th

Not a star, but a solid reliable player who in those years was an ever present.
119 consecutive games to the start of 2025.

New coach in 2025 tried some positional changes,may have been seeking a different 'output' from Florent and he fell out of favour.
Played 14 games plus 2 subbed in.

Not going to suggest what he is 'worth' on the market but I think he can comfortably play HBF/wing and a new coach who trusts him may get a very useful player.
