One of the posters on our board who is around Steele's age and played TAC at around that time just posted that Steele is committed to fighting for his spot at the Saints. This poster had contacts with a few current players and others at the Saints, so like all 'info' can take it for what it is.Where did Steele reject wce? I haven't seen that but it wouldn't surprise. I can see your point about the inside mid. Id be surprised if at least one club doesnt want him though.

Only posters making any sense are when Saints and Geelong posters are conversing, the others are just sad and salty and seemingly lost.Wow you guys were right this thread is an absolute disaster!
I’m sure a very serious organisation like the Saints have already told Geelong what a 30 year old ruck with next to no individual accolades is worth.
Edit: Just checked. It’s actually no individual accolades. Will be doing well to get a first round pick out of this trade.
Just make sure you keep Bill Buttlicker away from Steele SidebottomYou've got the nerve to ask me a question? And even BE HERE? So you've been preying on us the last 2 times, you barrack for Western, Mr Bald. You've been preying on us, opening us up, causing turmoil within our football club. Is this the gutter BigFooty poster you wanna be?????
Leave our Wilkie and JSOS alone. Go and find your own key defender or play Bill Buttlicker or whatever his name is.
What are the Bulldogs and Carlton freaks doing in this thread? Didn't realise they were in the mix for Marshall.
They aren't trade week players, just like to live off the glow of clubs actually getting shit doneWhat are the Bulldogs and Carlton freaks doing in this thread? Didn't realise they were in the mix for Marshall.

I’m hearing we are pretty solid on it being next years first much better draft. Will Geelong come to the partyCats have been firm on current first as starting point.
Wouldn’t be surprised if F2 or F3 is added with maybe a swap of picks like say add Cats F2 for Saints F3 if it gets sticky or something like that? I’m sure they have the framework already worked out.
Guess we’ll see how Saints feel.

Point is, if true, I would say the Marshall trade would go through with something like a F1 and maybe this years 2nd, or something like that.
Saints need draft capital to get some deals done and if Steele is staying, I am guessing they would like Marshall off the books.
Anyway, we will see.

How’s it overs one first round pick next year ! Your first pick this year up will end up mid twenties basically a second round pick that’s unders especially for a contracted playerNo lol
That’s not coming to the party that’s asking for overs.
No lol

A deal won’t get done then I’m hearing it’s a future first or not at allYou’re not getting our future first…I can understand this year’s first and a future 2nd but I absolutely would put my house on the future first not being involved.
How would it end up a second round pick? The academy/FS bids push the pick number out but those players aren't available for you/us to draft anyway, you're still getting the 17th best draftable player even if that pick ends up being 24 or whateverHow’s it overs one first round pick next year ! Will you come to the party if the admission price is paying the overs?

I'm hearing it'll be Premiership ruckman Rhys Stanley for Marshall + 2 firstsWell I don’t speak for the club but I’d imagine if their starting point which has already been repeated multiple times in the media as this year’s 1st alone then adding a F2 is already overs and Cats would pay that.
Anymore than that is just being ridiculous

Did you forget about the free agency compo picks that will be all coming before Geelongs pick they all take players that would have been available automatically pushes it out to at least pick 20How would it end up a second round pick?
