Players **** clubs off all the time (Merrett, Petracca) there’s no reason fans shouldn’t have the same mindset. Our loyalty in most cases is to the club, not the player.

Just on this....can anyone point out a forward or tall (ruck/forward) that DOESN'T get pushed under the ball at every opportunity these days?? It's the modern trend in defensive tactics that's evolved under Hardwick's Tigers and has been allowed to fester for almost a decade now. Free's should be paid against shepherding or blocking or pushing off the ball to the players actually trying or attempting to mark....oh but then all the talls might dominate again?

Cameron gets goals from leads or crumbs, Fogarty and Tilthorpe succumbed to the pressure, Gunston is an opportunist, Elliot the same.....why is Cox being singled out here when there's no-one in the competition capable of doing what you're expecting him to do?

That’s how it usually works for athletes though, isn’t it? Everyone loves them when they are performing and helping the team win. But if they stop performing and become a distraction naturally people will want them out. See Cousins, Fevola, Carey, Clayton Oliver, Beams, JUH … We traded Heater for less.
