Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

If the Suns have King, Read, Walter.. and aren't playing all 3 at once (as they didn't in finals).. I don't see why they are after JUH unless they see one of those 3 leaving. Either they are worried about King leaving next year or Walter is gettable this year. I just find it interesting. Think we can/should at least try to pry Walter free as part of the Charlie trade.

I dont think Read is a long term forward. He was a ruck as a junior, playing forward early as a senior as he develops. There's even been talk of him playing a Dan Curtain type tall wingman role - he does have that kind of tank.

Long term I'm not sure he's part of the forwardline in a serious capacity, here and there yes but not a full time member.

As I would have no idea what $$$$ any given player is on, how would I know, I’m also not going to add what we know now and pretend I would have been happy trading that player a few years ago.

I will though keep saying, we should not have needed to, as so many other clubs seem to be able to get it done.

It’s also impossible to know where we were overpaying, most assume it’s the big earners like Cripps, Harry, Charlie, Weitering but what if it was paying overs to Setterfield, Kennedy, Fogarty, Saad, Cerra, Pittonet, most other clubs have big name players who seem to be on good money but they can still add quality.

What a cop out, so you think the club is withholding cash and patently not deciding to spend it?
