I’ve always just caught this vibe off sanders that he hasn’t clicked with the rest of the boys and seems like abit of an outsider. Which makes me feel like he’s going to leave when he gets the chance.

I could also be completely wrong in my observation here

I’ll say one thing on this.

This has very little to do with the football and they cannot convince him to stay. Port knows this, Dogs know this. He has met with senior leaders at the Dogs.

Port knows the situation and most clubs would be sympathetic. I would be surprised if he landed anywhere else but the Dogs, it just whether it is this year. Another father son may also be looking to relocate to Victoria in the foreseeable future. Not necessarily to dogs just Victoria.
Colour me interested. Who are you talking about?

Yeah sorry there is no way the club trades Sanders, even if that included getting Butts. Even though I’d love to see us start making some tough calls and take some risks it’s just not gonna happen.

Let’s face it, we’ve always been ultra conservative when it comes to the trade period. I don’t think we’ll ever see a high risk/high reward trade done anytime soon.
Isn't the very trade up to get Sanders a high-risk/high-reward trade?

We very easily could have done other trades that saw us take 2-4 picks in the 10's and 20's but we banked it all for one player, Sanders.

Article suggests that any deal for Butters next year will have to start at $2 million per season and go up from there.

Lots of clubs making enquires about Nick Daicos following the disrespect shown to him by the coach at the Copeland Trophy Night. Poor taste by McRae to joke about Nick being only 2nd best on Brownlow Night and in the Collingwood Best and Fairest.

Outta curiosity - why would Jamarra and his management rip up a contract for $800k to sign for less? Am I missing something?
Because he still wants to be on the park to play AFL football, his actions notwithstanding. He could turn up to training and not miss a single session and we still may not actually select him for the AFL team.
