How long’s Pav signed up to be Sydney’s CEO I wonder?Doubt it, but he'll just be happy to be there and have a job like the rest of his workmates. That's all that matters.

He was senior assistant at Souths who just won a flag, thought we all wanted flag experienced coaches?Doubt it, but he'll just be happy to be there and have a job like the rest of his workmates. That's all that matters.

… surely Freo are already asking the question??
They photocopied all of the previous admins notes, nothing to stress aboutHmmm, I'm not thrilled at losing the leaders of a division because we appeared to not want to keep them to then promote the people underneath them...
There’s a few on here (not you) thinking that blokes are going to come from the East coast & work in the development department.I know people at the Perth Demons who spoke very fondly of Mayne when he was recently there, got a good brain and was really good with helping mentor the younger guys.
I don't know about you but I reckon he's good enough for a development coach spot.
It sounds like Beard was less of an underling and more of a director/mentor/innovation type roleHmmm, I'm not thrilled at losing the leaders of a division because we appeared to not want to keep them to then promote the people underneath them...
Still sounds like jobs for the boys to me.So whoever it was in the injury thread who had the mail we were letting Merriman go to promote someone with overseas experience was spot on.
A quick look at Beard's history shows he's been head of performance for the British Lions, (1 year), the Welsh national rugby team (6 yrs), the Cleveland Browns (NFL, 4 yrs), and the Chicago Cubs (MLB, 4 yrs).
This is certainly not some wet behind the ears assistant being promoted up through the internal ranks.
#acceptingmediocrityStill sounds like jobs for the boys to me.
How? Please explain and include Beard's CV while you do it. Then after that point out some individuals you would have hired on the basis of "we don't know you".Still sounds like jobs for the boys to me.
