Nearly half way through the season already and, to be honest, if it weren't for this thread, you wouldn't have seen me for another week. Alas, here we are! There was a good spread of players amongst a few clubs this week, with the Bombers, Furies, Royals and Wonders all splitting the honours with 3 members a piece. For the Bombers, it was BoozedUP (LBP) and Kilroy (LHB) in for their first time to go along with norway blue (RFP) picking up his second TOTW selection. The Furies had mainstay Bastyy (RBP) selected for the second time to go along with Chronz (CHB) and rfctigerarmy (INT2) with their first selections. The Royals broke through for a win and were rewarded with Ulahoopski (C) and CakeEater (LFP) selected for the first time, to go along with this weeks vice captain and second time selection Crimson Azure (RR) (vc). A team that has not been mentioned much in the TOTW is the Wonders, but they had 3 members this week, doubling their season output to date. Rubber Arm (FB), BFew (FF) and Coopers (ROV) all selected for their first appearance. The Hawks had two members this week, both experienced campaigners, with SM (RHF) earning a second selection to sit right next to Itsmyshow (CHF), the only player in the competition to have 3 TOTW selections in the same position. The Roys had two first timers as well with HinkleysHeroes (RHF) joining this weeks captain, DERRINALPHIL (RUC). The Swamprats were the last team to feature two members, with tigs2010 (LW) joining sataris (INT1) in his second selection this season. To round out the team, DemonJim (RW) (vc) represented the Demons and philreich (RHB) represented the Old Boys.

A very stable side compared to last week, with just 6 total changes in the Rolling Team of the Year. StFly (LBP), Uncle_Leo (FB), Bastyy (RBP), MWPP (LHB) and Chronz (CHB) keep their spots across the backline with the only change being omgfridge (RHB) coming back into the side for his third selection of the year. The centre line of Orange crush (LW), tomcruise (C) and Phar Ace (RW) were all selected for their second selection each. Two changes to the forward line, with HinkleysHeroes (LHF) selected for the first time this season, joining MrsEddieBetts (RFP) in her second overall selection. Footypie32 (CHF), Drizzy (RHF), Giant Strides (LFP) and Mooch (FF) all retaining their spots from last week. After some very strong performances, DERRINALPHIL (RUC) (vc), Cadsky (ROV) (c) and Crimson Azure (RR) all selected for the first time this season. The two mainstays on the bench this season have been bone2468 (INT1) and Harvey Manfrenjensenden (INT2) were both selected again for the 3rd and 6th time respectively.

still stand by this team list should be the makings of the All-SFA team list - everyone named on the final team of the year (end of H&A rounds) with the minimum posting number requirement (15 per week I think) should be All-SFA. Lets stop the popularity voting to make All-SFA and give it to the players that scored best DT in the actual position. All the other stuff like media, working for SFA etc is recognised with other awards, lets make All-SFA about qooty performance.

You've got a good point. Unfortunately this weeks TOTY would only have 3 members hit the posting requirement. There is absolutely 0 correlation between posting heaps in a match thread and getting good luck in the sim

The long awaited return of Team of the Week is back! A fairly interesting week numbers wise, with only 4 positions on the field breaking the ton this week with both Wings, Ruck and INT2 the only ones to hit triple figures. It was the Bears this week leading the charge with player selection, with half of the back line hailing from Las Vegas including Test Tickle (LBP), Tommycash (FB) and MWPP (LHB) joining Electronic_Renaissance (C) in the TOTW. Multiple teams had 3 representatives, with the Bombers having JoeldTrafford (RHB) joining an all Baghdad leadership group with Raz (RUC) (vc) and Jabba73 (LW) (c) leading the points. East Side Hawks also had three members with Red mist (RBP), Tarkyn_24 (ROV) and Tadpole (INT1) all getting the nod. Mount Buller also had 3 selections with Bluelegs (CHF), Wosh (LFP) and Headless (INT2) all representing the Demons. The two headed monster from Sin City consisting of TheGoatBaron (FF) and MrsEddieBetts (RFP) showed out for the Rats. spudmaster (RR), grumbleguts (RW), DenieD (CHB), King Tenz (RHF) and jezzajay (LHF) were the solo representatives from the Warriors, Royals, Gumbies, Old Boys and Wonders respectively. The Furies and Roys had no one and the Dragons were on the BYE.

The whole BYE system is starting to wreak havoc on the TOTY at this point, with the 5 teams that haven't had a BYE yet making up 15 of the 20 spots on the field. Alas, we push forward. Despite that, there were only 2 changes from the TOTY side in Round 7, with Phar Ace making way for grumbleguts and 6 time selection Harvey Manfrenjensenden making way for Bomber tomjoad (INT2) to help alleviate my issues with font sizing. Drizzy (RHF) represents the Dragons for the 6th consecutive week. Giant Strides (LFP) selected for the Hawks for the 7th time. Bastyy (RBP) 6 selections, Chronz (CHB) 4 straight selections, omgfridge (RHB) 4 selections and Orange crush (LW) 3 straight selections all represent the Furies. Uncle_Leo (FB) 3 straight, grumbleguts (RW) first selection, Footypie32 (CHF) 3 straight, Cadsky (ROV) (vc) 2nd straight and Crimson Azure (RR) 2nd straight all representing the Royals. StFly (LBP) 5th straight and bone2468 (INT1) 4th straight the two Gumbies selected. MWPP (LHB) 3rd straight the loan Bear in the side. tomcruise (C) 3rd straight the only Demon to make the team. HinkleysHeroes (LHF) 2nd straight, Mooch (FF) 4th selection and DERRINALPHIL (RUC) (c) 2nd straight, first as captain were the three Roys selected. The final spot went to MrsEddieBetts (RFP) 3rd selection of the Rats. The Warriors, Old Boys and Wonders contribute donuts.

Plenty of first timers in the Round 9 Team of the Week with half of the side making their debut for Season 40. There was a fairly even spread of team representation this week, with the Dragons, Roys and Gumbies the only teams to miss selection with the Furies on the BYE. The East Side Hawks had Zoops (LHB), cats2rise (C) and TY24 (RUC) (c) as their three members. Las Vegas Bears also had three selected with Tommycash (FB), tony (RBP) and RookiePick (INT2) all making the team. The Old Boys were also represented by three players with Mrs Turbo (CHF), JuddgementDay (RFP) and Dingster (RR) getting the nod. The last team to have 3 players picked was the Swamprats, with Rodney Dangerfield (CHB), Firestarter (RHF) and damicky (LFP) all being named. The Coney Island Warriors had two selections this week with toxic (LBP) and jannissary (RW) returning to the TOTW. The Royals also had two selected with Cadsky (ROV) (vc) picked alongside grumbleguts (INT1). The final side with multiple members was the Wonders who had two first timers with BallaratBulldog (RHB) and HARPSichord (LW) making their TOTW debuts. The final two spots in the side went to the Bombers' DemurePrincess (FF) and the Demons' All Aust (LHF)

The Roys, being one of only a few teams yet to have a BYE, dominate this weeks rolling TOTY with 4 members present. Leading from the front is the highest scoring player in the league, DERRINALPHIL (RUC) (c) in his 3rd straight week, 2nd straight as captain. He is joined by teammates Phar Ace (RW) 3rd selection, HinkleysHeroes (LHF) 3rd straight and Mooch (FF) 5th appearance. The Hawks had three representatives this week with Loonerty (LW) making his debut appearance, Itsmyshow (CHF) 5th appearance and Giant Strides (LFP) 8th appearance. The Royals still feature three times with Uncle_Leo (FB) managing to keep his spot for the 4th straight week despite not playing at all this round which was a great effort. He is joined by Nothing (CHB) 3rd appearance and Cadsky (ROV) (vc) 3rd straight appearance. The Bears managed three players also, MWPP (LHB) 4th straight appearance, Cap (RR) 5th appearance and RookiePick (INT2) debut appearance. The Swamprats were the last team with multiple selections with MrsEddieBetts (RFP) 4th appearance and sataris (INT1) 1st appearance. The remaining 5 spots were taken up by the Warriors' toxic (LBP) 2nd appearance, Dragons' Drizzy (RHF) 7th straight, Furies' Bastyy (RBP) 7th straight, Gumbies' Falconista (RHB) debut appearance and the Demons' tomcruise (C) 4th straight.
