Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I don't see him as a pure small forward but more as a HF flanker that can prob get some minutes in the middle. I don't rate him highly but one impressive stat from this year was his kick rating (+9.8 for threat rating and +10.0 for retention rating) which is really really good. Could be a way of improving our inside 50 efficiency

Not a big possession winner. From what I recall he blazes away far to often.

I’m gonna be happy if it’s the Durdin/#29/Ainsworth proposed trade. Durdin is not worth that and frees a list spot up.

Thought Durdin might be at risk of going. I’m not upset about it. Gives him a fresh start and he goes home.

For mine Durdin was holding a valuable list spot and had almost zero chance of being retained beyond next year anyway, so glad to see him get an opportunity elsewhere. Appreciate his service but have never really seen anything there, if I'm honest.

If he was 10-15cm taller, would have been a pretty decent midfielder. He was never a small forward but got shoehorned into that role because of his height

Fantastic young man, Durds. I genuinely wish him all the best. The main issue for him has always been his shoulders, they tend to dislocate just as he’s finding form. He’s also caught a bit in between being a mid and a small. Hopefully he can stay fit and go on to have a long career.

He is only 23 years old and has speed. Not sure why we would trade him for an older slower player

I reckon given the opportunity his numbers will rise. Gold coast have a million different options at HF so he’s never had the chance to flourish. Hes a 15-20 disposal typa player
