Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Absolutely not. I have no clue why people think the scg is small. Even after the freakish lead up forwards they've had dominate for them there the last 25 years and the constant dimensions sharing showing the increased size the last 10 years....

I don't know a lot about Florent what's the take on him?

Bit mixed on here but I've always liked him. Provides run off HB and can even push onto a wing if needed. Generally a nice user of the ball as well. Think him at HB and Ollie back to the wing works well. He wouldn't be worth much - maybe a late 2nd...?

We’ve got a bit of a missing generation with SPS, Dow, Fisher and LOB not coming good. Feels like the club’s trying to plug that gap now. Dean and Ison should will come in, and then it really depends on what happens with Charlie and how we use those picks from there.

Agree and I would add Boyd to that group - will all struggle to get a game next year.

The last player who talked about mental health like that is Bailey Smith at the All-Australian awards night.
Talked about being in a mental health facility and his struggles.

I wish Smith all the best for his mental health challenges and it would be difficult being under the spotlight he is under… but he is still a massive knob and isn’t showing too many signs of growing up, and it seems like he could even be a destabilising influence at the Cats. I wouldn’t want him at Carlton even if he is a fantastic player.

So I can also understand the clubs position as well. Have to place trust that GW, Davies and Voss know what they’re doing.

If I was his parents or brother, I wouldn’t want Charlie anywhere near Bailey Smith. Not sure if Charlie is just a follower, but Bailey will lead him astray I fear

So True. At the start of the year i was actually excited to see how he went, and he didn't disappoint.
But as the year progressed, his true childish, arrogant, knob-self (who is so full of himself he seems unlikely to change), was continually on display for the whole world to see, even after chats (mid-season) from the AFL and the club that has taken a chance on him.

Not sure why all players with a history don't have mandatory behavior clauses in their contract (enforced by the AFL so the club has no say) which allows a club to sever ties without honoring the full contract.

Unfortunately, that is the nature of AFL, and that environment doesn't help but actually fuels their poor attitudes. Clubs all too willing to give players a 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance if they are elite talent, thinly veiled as 'concerned for their mental health' but if you aren't that great a player you are straight out the door.

Baileys mental health was bs and a insult to those that actually do, nothing but a scheme to put pressure on Dogs to trade him cheaper

Not even close. Florent has simply been replaced by Bice who's on a quarter of the cash.

Cox pushed him out of the team and thus having a 4 year contract becomes a burden to them. Still a very solid role player and has been for a long time for them.
