What a nightI know, it was just for effect and a chance to relive a port nightmare
Fk some of you crew are depressing - I’ll admit the finals were poo but some of you have lost the plot - I was at the Collingwood game , bitterly disappointing and I watched from OS the Hawthorn debacle but ffs get a grip.
I’m not a fan of Nick’s game day coaching or his team selection but this squad is quite impressive calm the farm sit back and enjoy.
Mind you I’ve had a few Bintangs and a couple of espresso martini’s so carry on.
geelong never let go of talent. who was the last?George Stevens is the obvious low cost midfielder we can likely secure cheaply, maybe even as a delisted free agent given it appears the Cats haven't offered him a contract for 2026 at this point likely waiting on seeing how their trade/draft period goes.
We all know he's not quick but he's a big strong body with good footy I.Q.,, neat skills a bazooka boot and he's only 20, high end character/leadership qualities as well.
Highly likely he'd have way more immediate impact than any 18 year old midfielder we draft with one of our 3rd round picks. Why not?
bergman, georgiadis, to add and on rozzee thats still drafting. youre talking about the best mid in the comp being selected at pick 12 thats a fair effort. give them some credit.Like, outside of Rozee, Butters, Wines and Houston who defines Port as superior Drafting ?
They traded up picks for Rozee, and traded for JHF .....so IMO they're trading exercises not drafting
I really liked SPP in that yearMarshall, SPP and Drew all taken after Gallucci.
Bergman and Georgiades taken after McAsey.
Sinn looks like an expensive flop for them though.
good family cost us butters and yes probably others. if they dont make hamish a cup of tea and some fresh home made scones with jam and cream then its no goI really liked SPP in that year
Probably I banged about it on the drafting board
Mutineer would remember
I always loved Stengle too
Edit: I think Danger in Texas was on my page too
I was so sick of these from “good home “ types
We needed character, arrogance
Still do
Fair rubbishgood family cost us butters and yes probably others. if they dont make hamish a cup of tea and some fresh home made scones with jam and cream then its no go
What utter ****ing bullshit!!!!!good family cost us butters and yes probably others. if they dont make hamish a cup of tea and some fresh home made scones with jam and cream then its no go
well if thats not his lead selection factor he should state what his lead selection factor is, and not just default to the good family rubbish every year. it is degrading to the other players not selected!Fair rubbish
A bit roughgood family cost us butters and yes probably others. if they dont make hamish a cup of tea and some fresh home made scones with jam and cream then its no go
More crapola.well if thats not his lead selection factor he should state what his lead selection factor is, and not just default to the good family rubbish every year. it is degrading to the other players not selected!
