Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I understand he's not a shit player just dont think the club should be on the hook for he's 4 year contract.
He is not a superstar and could as easily fall out of favour at carlton also

Only way I’d take on that four year deal is if the Swans pay part of it or it gets us a better pick/s. He’d be best 22 next year and at worst very handy depth for a few but the length of the contract scares me.

As far as I’m concerned he’s a negative to any trade involving Charlie.

Elijah has had multiple chances at 2 different clubs, some of his reported issues no different to Smith’s over the years. We actually don’t know if he’s a good kid. We just hope he is because he’s a damn good footballer.

Voss’ staunch statement along with some of the rumours floating around makes me think perhaps not. He is such an important part of our lineup and our future and they’re still asking him to look for a new club? And he doesn’t seem to have many suitors.

Would love for him to stay if possible but if he is unreliable and a potential distraction even after all of the support, move him on.

There were rumours before trade period that he was on his way to GCFC.

Seems to be ramping up more recently that he’s in for staying.

That was started by his DH uncle BT I think after our final H&A game

I’d hate to lose Rowbottom. His game was impacted this year with the injuries to our midfield

Instead of being the No. 3 midfielder, he often had to be the No. 1 midfielder given Chad’s average form in the first half of the season

Even though he’s not a big accumulator of the ball, he’s pretty much the heart and soul of the footy club

Smith seems like a bit of a knob but he’s playing some good footy and the Cats seem to be managing his personality quite well.

Elijah is about to be kicked out his second club and doesn’t look to have any suitors. Even Jamarra is getting another chance after a shocking year off field.

A player like Elijah should have 18 clubs lining up for him. Something stinks.
