That's according to sources close to the player. My understanding is that Lucas only has one leg, literally, and is legally blind.
Can’t see it involving a third club. Just Freo and Brisbane.
I honestly think you’re looking too big as well. Something smaller.
Swap of later picks, once that bid match on Annable goes through.
wallsy the maths genius is obviously doing hidden equationsOne trade for pick 12 had someone paying the equivalent of pick 44 to move up...
One trade for pick 12 had giving up 41 to move down...
41 and 44 together equal pick 33 in points. In other words, like ive said, Freo effectively chucked in pick 33/34 for shits and giggles.

Didn't realise Young was 27. Not sure he'll still be there when West Coast next make finals.Well, our pick 33 is worth a little more than Tyler young.

More questioning the Pick 38 part than the logic of bringing him in tbh.I don't think that's the point. They need some bodies to play so inside fifties against don't all turn into scores. You'd take 2x Zac Dawson to play key back and just compete and defend over playing twigs or midfielders as your tall defenders - at least until your higher talent players have had their time in the gym.

He's just okay at best and at 27 Richmond probably didn't think he was much of a loss to their long term plans.
I'd throw hollands a shot if Blues delist. Go via SSP. High upside in an area we still need quality (half forward, medium) clearly with issues but reports say he knows he's got a ln alcohol problem, that's the first step
Getting out of Melb, last shot to have a crack
I would be truly shocked if he "only" has a problem with alcohol and no other substances. All reports/murmurings including his drug related charges prior to his latest interview would suggest otherwiseI'd throw hollands a shot if Blues delist. Go via SSP. If 27 year old, 35 AFL game back-up defender Tyler Young is worth pick 38 in this years draft, what do you reckon the extra pick 44 we gave to Brisbane so they can match Daniel Annable bids in order to get the Mcvee trade done is worth? A half eaten packet of Samboy chips?I think it goes in the "picks after 30 don't have much value this year" column.
So Carlton are delisting him and paying out the final year?
Is Hollands the type that we all look at and go "he'd be perfect for SSP/could be a moneyball pickup etc" and yet the club wouldn't even look at it?
Probably but I doubt there would be 20 pages of rants if they go down that route. They clearly have a much better grasp of the situationIs Hollands the type that we all look at and go "he'd be perfect for SSP/could be a moneyball pickup etc" and yet the club wouldn't even look at it?
Thing is that Carlton took him on from Gold Coast at a heavily discounted price knowing all the issues he came with.and then Geelong or Sydney get him, and every other club looks stupid.
I think he would need a fair bit of support, especially in the first 12 months but he has so much talent.
First round picks don't mean anything to Gold Coast it's like monopoly money.Trading with gold coast must be the ultimate life hack. Two top 10 picks for a 30 year old is crazy shit almost no other club would even consider but it's the sort of thing you get away with when you can match two top 5 academy picks for pennies.
Agree, SSP makes perfect sense to me.Thing is that Carlton took him on from Gold Coast at a heavily discounted price knowing all the issues he came with.
That's two clubs that have decided his off field issues are too much hard work. One of them is about to trade in JUH.
SSP train on is about the only thing you'd consider him for.
