Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Normally I'd agree with you. But in this case I'm not sure it is what we want. Really depends how much (if at all) the club are happy to have Charlie stay.

As I've said before, I think this is our best chance to maximise return on Charlie. We may be happy to have him return to the fold. And play out his days as a Bagger.

If Sydney is unwilling to offer us something worthwhile in return for Charlie, I hope our Club sticks to its position of 'no deal'. We hold the cards here, and Charlie can stay if they don't want him badly enough to make it worth our while; second-string players shouldn't cut it.

I believe Charlie is being undervalued by the prospective trade.
syd Pick 11 , F1 ,Hayward and possibly florent it’s not peanuts but it’s not enough for one of the best forwards in the AFL .
I’d be asking Sydney to pony up start talking to west coast consider sending Warner and McDonald home for pick 1 and 2 now pass that on to Carlton with Hayward . That’d in my opinion is what Charlie’s value should be and what would get a deal done .
We should hold him to his contract if the deals doesn't cut the mustard for a 2x Coleman medalist unstoppable freak when his at his best who will be a massive lose for our football club.

Hayward himself said 10 days ago he would be open to moving to Carlton in the Swans wanted to include him in a deal. Said there wouldn't be many other clubs he would play for and that he likes Vossy.
