I'm prepared for us to trade JDG if the offer is very compelling, but my natural inclination is I want to see him stay.

I want us to compete for a premiership next year. I don’t see how we do that without JDG.

We are not going to be getting another gun (Petrecca) or potentially gun player (Humphrey).

We might get Simpkin or a mid range pick, neither helps us to a premiership team next year.

Because most of the core players who were responsible for that run were still relatively young.
Now we need to replace a whole lot of them in the span of 1-2 years. Not having the young talent coming through to replace them is starting to show.
