2025 AFL Draft and Trade Dates:

Fri Oct 3 - Fri Oct 10: 2025 Free Agency Period
Mon Oct 6 - Wed Oct 15: 2025 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period
Wed Nov 19 - Thu Nov 20: 2025 Telstra AFL Draft

I just dont understand it. He was delisted. Richmond could have got him for zero.
If they get him as a DFA, he's an unrestricted free agent for life.

On the 1% chance he turns into a good player for them, they'd rather have contractual control for a pick they won't even use.

Hawks did the same think with D'Ambrosio.

ummm.....how did we trade a delisted player? And why?

Probably because he wasn't yet officially delisted, rather the annoucement from the start of the month was our intention of what was going to happen with both Ivisic and Retschko

List Lodgement (1) isn't until 31 October
List Lodgement (2) is 21 November
Final List Lodgement is 24 November

All dates regarding trades, draft, list lodgement, academy etc, can we found here

0% chance tigers fans give Patrick a shit nickname like he had here.
His true reason for leaving no doubt.

Doubt the Tiggies even know what Repco is. Not much need for auto parts when you take your cars out of other peoples' garages and then leave 'em in a ditch at the end of the trip.

the 3 weak links for Geelong are

1. The Mullin haters who made him their whipping boy

2. The Miers haters who made him their whipping boy but are now Mullin haters

3. The Zuthrie haters who made him their whipping boy before he proved them wrong so they jumped onto being Miers haters and then when they got proven wrong twice they now jump on hating Mullin.

Can't wait to see who the next whipping boy will be! Jhye Clark has got his name all over it right now but don't rule out Jack Bowes or Sir Crab James Worpel
Nope it's O'connor mainly. We've had players out in space multiple times and he just takes the ball and the tackle. No awareness, no vision. He's such an ordinary footballer it's not funny.

Not following close enough but trading for a free agent is a way to avoid messing up any free agent compensation for other players that they might be receiving.

LOL.

Even if that were true, and it's not an assessment I agree with from watching games, if a bit of stodginess with ball in hand is the price to pay for his consistent and total demolition jobs on players like Heeney, Rayner, and Weddle it's well worth it.

Can we ban posts on the basis of it being the stupidest thing I've ever read?
