Suggest you watch Williams presser. So if (for example) Port Adelaide say that they’ll pay up for AhChee in the PSD, does AhChee nominate?
Two parties in this trade. If the bidding system wasnt changing we might have accepted the trade
Oh well. Reputation ruined for the Crows
See Brother this why i like you know how the system works
No, the offer is F2 and F3.Let’s expand those okay…
That’s pick 35-40 ish plus pick 55 next year
Honestly would Brisbane even use one of those picks next year?
It doesn’t look that good if you expand it…all Brisbane has lost is some random pick in the 30’s. Meh they’ll live just got Allen and Draper for cash

Did you not read what his manager and cal said ?Lions-Eagles collusion could go to yet another level![]()

Because they don’t want to strengthen a rival unless for massive overs. Seems good in theory but when the other party is being reasonable it throws the player under the bus. Hence the bad look. Why wouldn’t Lions do the deal, if they didn’t want to keep him?
A first rounder was more than fair really.
I really dont think a F2 and F3 is that far off his value as a 28 year old handy role player, I find that weird.Adelaide have the right/obligation to do what is best for their team, Dom has an obligation to do the same for us.
Given the offer was a pick around 37 next year plus a pick around 55 I think there was little to gain from accepting it and perhaps a little benefit to other trade negotiations in future given we have a lot of players we want to retain.
I mean I feel like you tried to correct or tweak my point while really just confirming what I said.
I get why you faith in him no matter what, who wouldnt. I agree with your point as well because it agrees with mine haha.
Just think it's kinda shitty treatment of Ah Chee, clearly Williams wasnt too happy.
So if (for example) Port Adelaide say that they’ll pay up for AhChee in the PSD, does AhChee nominate?
Why is an F2 and F3 of no value?Crom didn’t provide an offer of sensible value.
People are getting to held up on the first or f1 narrative. That would have been our extreme starter position. We were after a slide valuing him at 25.
It doesn’t make sense to accept an offer which contained no value for us.
Did you not read what his manager and cal said ?
I think Ah Chee will re-sign if you offer him the money he wants.WGAF about his greedy manager or any manager for that matter who is just bottom feeding on the work of others; same with grubs like Ralph, Edmund and any other footy journo campaigner that are even lower than bottom feeders.
No, the offer is F2 and F3.
Yep, so this could get interesting.Suggest you watch Williams presser.
Ah Chee has left the building.
Two parties in this trade.
Yeah it was, way more . Which is why the crows didn’t offer overs
So you are making assumption. Well, let's assume at the age of 29, Ah Chee only has a few years of good football left so is he worth pick 35-40???Yes so expand them
Future 2 is basically pick 35-40 give and take. There’s 18 clubs so assume the high end of you coming 4th and that’s 30 picks without the academy and nga and F/S. Assume there’s 5-8 of those that’s bang on.
Future 3 is 15 picks after that, they wouldn’t even use it bar maybe a few random points if they even needed them
So now he goes for nothingYep and one whos offer wasnt even in the ball park of his worth
Oh well

We need a decent small-mid forward too. With Rioli retiring and Powell-Pepper coming off his second knee.We look forward to Ah Chee running around in Power jumper next year. He'll be in Adelaide city, closer to parents, on big money contract. Win win win !
Where is the presser ?Suggest you watch Williams presser.
Ah Chee has left the building.
I respect the respectful conversation, it's likely I had some smarmyness undertone in my post given there is a not small bit of Brisbane poster smarmyness in this thread haha. I do get why Dom can do whatever he wants and he'll be backedFair, that wasn't my intent but I can see why you'd say that
My point was more about the fact that our faith in our list management team is based on years of trusting them to make the right call in the long term without trying to bend other clubs over the table
If we're wrong on this one, we're wrong..so be it...I just didn't like the implication (perhaps entirely unintended) that the faith in Dom is somehow based on hubris rather than past performance
Again, given his rep said he is disappointed in Brisbane, I'm not sure Ah Chee agrees. We only seem to disagree on whether this is poor treatment of Ah Chee: personally, I think that battling like hell to keep him is better treatment than refusing to pay the asking price
Rubbish. Listen to Ambrogios presser after time ran out. We offered multiple different possibilities with pick swaps/slides, different years etc but crows weren’t interested. No surprise it ended up hereThey received a fair offer but Brisbane refused to trade in good faith
So you are making assumption. Well, let's assume at the age of 29, Ah Chee only has a few years of good football left so is he worth pick 35-40???
