My original post referenced leaving enough cap room to fit in the People’s Fist.As opposed to what? He was already on a club friendly contract.
Thought I heard LJ had popped up somewhere as development coach..?My original post referenced leaving enough cap room to fit in the People’s Fist.
Daniel Rich like?Comfortably the best kick in the draft and can play across all 3 lines. Would be more than happy taking him if he's there.
It's fine to keep Gov. He has versatility and understands our system.
The others are sure to be delisted now. White, Flynn Young, Charleson and Elijah.
I feel for Will White who is blue-hearted and deserved more. Charleson is one who I think has something and I want to keep.
Flynn Young got some games, and to be honest, I was only impressed in one of them, possibly his last. I can see where we might have found upgrades but it's tough.
I'd be looking to move out Binns and Fogarty a year early.

We did the same to LOB a few years back, and that was just for list balance reasons. Can't see that there would be any issues here.Would the AFLPA allow us to sever the contract of Elijah if he wasn’t a willing participant, if you take from face value the article that was written in the age he wants to play at Carlton and is doing all the right things to get back.. I am no employment lawyer but I don’t think it would be as simple as just paying him out.
Voss loves Fog, IMO if we are searching for a list spot encouraging Saad to retire and offering him a playing assistant coach role in the VFL.Imo, id rather get rid of fog/binns and keep white/young
Cant they just sign on with the VFL team?
Finding it very difficult seeing Fog getting a look in up forward in ‘26 with the other options avail.Voss loves Fog, IMO if we are searching for a list spot encouraging Saad to retire and offering him a playing assistant coach role in the VFL.
Probably plays a bit more like Farrell or Zorko who are there purely to distribute the footy. Just hits up corridor targets and takes on aggressive options. Rich was an underrated defender for mine, certainly a lot stronger in the contest than I'd expect Lindsay to be at the next level.Daniel Rich like?
If I was an overlooked player, our VFL would make a very appealing case, we are a club that has consistently picked players from this side or have had players picked from. Why would they though. They want to be seen in a better team to have a chance of getting on to another AFL team.

O’Shea
Cincotta
White
Evan’s
Then we’ve had
Saad
Camminiti
The guy at Essendon
The good guy from Richmond
Success rate is pretty good
Ange Christou played in the 2nds wearing 52. Nor was he alone. Neil Gaghan was another. Mil Hanna started with 53.Thanks. I remember in the 70/80s going to watch games (reserves first) and getting the record to see all players on our list. Had well over 50 players on "list" with numbers on jumpers into 80s
If it’s fog or Binns or another player then I’d agree, I see White and Young being a little different.Yeah, but not if you've already been delisted. Nobody stays with the VFL team after that.
Wasn’t expecting that, but I don’t think it’s the wrong decision (which giving him the extra year on the contract was).
Thanks for your service Binnsy, all the best.
