I couldnt belive we offered a first round pick last year. Even harder to believe is they knocked it back! Now their stuck with him. FWIW, I dont believe the AFC are at all interested. I think the rumour is more likely to have come from Port in an attempt to offload him, if its not just a BF bullshit rumour.

Adelaide are at least publically stating they are looking at it ... but are concerned because him being contracted would nudge the price up....

From a Port Adelaide perspective, I kinda hope we keep White. He was playing really well earlier in the season, and was only really dropped when Tredrea came back. He is a good lead and good mark. His goalkicking needs improvement, but I still think he will be an AFL quality key forward. I just don't know what club that will be at.

You guys do have a bit of a key forward problem. But I very much doubt you would give us your 1st rounder for Whitey this season.

Our forward line problem is that we have 3-4 player of the same ilk as Damon White, why would we want another one. We certainly wont be parting with our first rounder, second or third either.

We've kept kenny and I really don't see why we would get him, why not keep Perrie, Perrie would do just as well as White and we would only need them for another year or so max before Tippet and Sellar came through.

I dont think he's worth trading, he's as good insurance as Port can possibly hope to have.

Yeah, I would also prefer to keep Perrie than trade for White. We have players of the same ilk, so we would be better off keeping the trade pick & blooding the younger guys.

i have no doubt if Craigy got hold of him he would make him a better player, probably a more than solid AFL standard player. Its just a shame for white he signed a extension this yr.

give them 3rd rounder and $6000 in a paper bag so they break even this yr and i reckon we have a deal!
