I'm glad I didnt go early and melt after seeing us pick this bloke. I knew nothing about him and went and consumed just about every highlights video of him I could find.
Looks like a ripper of a young bloke with a really good attitude. Love his work ethic off the ball and his ability to break tackles and put the ball in dangerous spots with his hands and feet.
The fact that Walls and his team rated this bloke so highly is enough for me to get excited about what he will bring.

It looks like the same sort of pace Walters had, which is the first 3 steps to find space. Exactly what we need. We already have top end pace for the run and carry, we just needed a FWD/MID who can operate in congestion. I think he'll thrive running past to pick up the crumbs from Treacy/Amiss/Voss/Jackson.

He must be super quick off the mark. Reportedly a very good stoppage mid, so hopefully that translates to some early Lachie Neale - like ability to hit the scoreboard from F50 stoppages.
They should get him playing in blue shoes and nickname him Elvis.

Agree with this, was number 1 on my Christmas shopping list a small half forward that tackles.
Was worried about who replaces Reid up forward if he moves into more midfield time - we have our answer.

Regardless of his speed, I'm drawn to his evasiveness (sidestep/quick feet) in traffic and around the contest.
His numbers show he loves contested ball so he could be a weapon forward of centre with his ability to win his own ball and then evade to break into space or put a teammate into space.
Couple that with an attitude that looks A1, a reputation for hard work and some potential upside by only being one season off an ACL and he seems to tick a lot of boxes for us.

The sort of interview that makes you not worry about any glaring weaknesses at the moment. You just know he's giong to work hard on them....Oh I like him!!What a brilliant attitude!
His highlights show genuine promise, but he's also got the right attitude required to augment those skills and Improve on them. I was happy enough with this pick based on the highlights alone, but this kid's really got it going on upstairs as well -- that goes a long way.
Judging by the group at his place, we might have a few thousand new members next year!!‘Freo fan now… forever’.

Seems a really decent kid from his interview. Love his physicality and aggression in the tackle. Seems like a guy that will do everything to better himself. Looking forward to watching him develop and hopefully play a few AFL games in 2026

No melts. Most happy they didn't impact their first round impact next year.
