I just dont think what's holding back Gerryn, Mcmahon from engaging in contested marking and neutralising contest compared to say a L.Morris?
This was a name I liked pre-draft. Developing Ruck would be handy and has a lot of upside. Also comes from a basketball background. Did you know Pendlebury also came from a similar background, and he went OK.
But then that blows the whole theory
Logan Morris was their main guy and is 191, he just won a premiership, hes 191. Gallop a 5th gamer played next to him, hes 194
Edwards, Mcmahon, Harry Jones, Gerryn are all this size if not bigger and much more physically mature. Not to mention Langford is Logan Morris size
Sullivan Robey is bigger than L.Morris

Wahhh. Hes 198. 7cm on MorrisMcMahon doesn't have the size to be a reliably strong contested mark against the best opposition defenders. So there's that. You wouldn't expect him to go toe-to-toe with a Weitering all game and halve those contests if you had another option. That's where a guy like Wright or May with much heavier frames would be expected to go to work.

How much heavier is May over Mcmahon? Both same height
This is a really weird hill to die on.
That Mcmahon is as much a KPF as L.Morris is?Nik Cox is 2cm taller than Cale Hooker.
But as I said:

So you dont think Mcmahon is capable of being a 'key' forward ?Really putting the Agony in to your posting today here:

And then we still have 2MP, May and Gerryn who you think are? On the list anyway. So probably not required if your just picking 1 to contest vs SDK, Keane?

It's certainly painful to read, and probably should be entirely avoided by pregnant and breastfeeding mothersReally putting the Agony in to your posting today here:
It's no big deal. Clubs passed on them all multiple times, there's almost certainly something about them that every recruiter identified as making them extremely unlikely to succeed despite external draft 'experts' rating them highlyIts a shame we could have had a early pick (#4) in the rookie draft and miss our opportunity.
We can't delist anyone today?
Hibbons-Hargreaves was talked as a possible pick at 5,6,7 early in the year when could have had Draper pick.
Greeves a power mid who can push forward and is a good user.
Rodriguez talented mid with pace.
Leon Kickett - high flying small forward with pace.

6 new faces in total, the rest were re-rookied. Twomey mentioned that they'll probably look at having a mechanism to make those sorts of changes without having to be read out in the rookie draft in future coz it's a bit stupid.3 18 year olds taken in the whole rookie draft on my count.
Reckon things need reviewing if the same amount of 30 year olds are being drafted in the rookie draft as actual kids
Rookie draft or list management revamp??3 18 year olds taken in the whole rookie draft on my count.

They should abolish the Cat A list. Just have a list of 42. Then the Cat B can just be the rookie listIMO they should reduce the number of generic rookie list spots but increase the Cat B and first nations specific spots. Maybe add an additional category for 18yos only or something too.
