I think that Libba works on an entirely different level of irony than most human beings.

So he gets a pass when he wears a ridiculous oversized plastic gold chain and a block of cheese on his head.

And thats the joke.

Any other person would look like a fool is such a garb.
What do you wear to games?

I usually wear a media polo or my Dogs hoodie….neither are overbearing….i agree about wearing footy jumper at my age, I wouldn’t do it.

Up here in Qld, Broncos and League merch is everywhere at any age. Lions getting Moreso but most polos

Normal person clothes.
I still wear my Jersey to AFL games. Although I understand your viewpoints.
For me i understand (and embrace) the silly nature of it, but for me it's more about the tradition and escape from the real world that football provides. I often squeeze into the same jumper I've worn to the football for the last 30 years but sometimes change it up with the aboriginal, premiership or hall of fame jumper. Football for me has always been a way to disassociate from the confines of every day life so I dont mind looking silly once a week.

He's from Wisconsin, dontcha know.

Not at all a knock on the guys we’ve drafted in the last two years, however, if you told me that we’d lose:
Jack Macrae, Bailey Smith, Caleb Daniel and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

Finish 8th (Pick 11), Finish 9th (Pick 10)

And only bring in Connor Budarick and Matt Kennedy via trade.

I am a bit confused how we have managed to actually only take:

Picks 21, 27 and a late match bid in 2025
And picks 20, 29, 31, 51 and 62 in 2024.

All without also having a large 2026 haul.

Quite remarkable really.
Plus Sanders and Croft as first rounders, and last years' draft haul.

I only wear a scarf or beanie but not sure why what other people wear would in any way impact your experience at a game.
Toby Greene badge?

Wearing club apparel is cringe.

Not quite adults wearing a guernsey level of cringe.

But cringe nonetheless.
lolwut. The entire exercise of watching a bunch of grown men kick a ball around a field is "cringe" if we take a step back and think about it. Drawing the line at wearing club apparel is an odd take. For me, it's a way of financially supporting the club, and immersing yourself in the collective support and celebration of the team

I like that forward line mix.

I’d be pretty tempted to play Williams back instead of Buss, but agree the club will likely give Buss first go at it.

So much rests of JOD. Don’t need him to be a superstar but needs to be an above average number 1 defender. Fingers crossed he shows some improvement next season.

This kid is special. Signing him for 5+ should be priority #1 next year.
We can only hope. Would love for him to stay. Think he is going to be a gun (maybe as soon as next year if he plays mid). But if we get Butters, that’s more midfield time that will be taken from him & Tassie knocking, the writings on the wall.

Starting to fill out and look really strong, hope he spends more time at the coal face next year

Will be an interesting watch around his contract discussions but ultimately if he doesn’t leave in 2026 I think he still goes back to Tassie

Exactly. It's easy to take a perspective that following sport at all is cringe. Then posting on a forum about football? Super-dooper cringe. If you're gonna do it, go all in. Wear the apparel. Paint your face. Get a tattoo. It's an escape from the seriousness of the rest of our lives. A bit of fun. Don't take yourself so seriously. The word "fan" is an abbreviation of fanatic, after all.

Well said Floppa
