“The Woodson” - Confidence Rating competition
Basic rules:

• Each week, tip the winner of each regular season game, with a confidence rating from 16 (most confident) to 1 (least confident).
• During bye weeks, the most confident will still be 16 points, down to 2-3 for the least confident.
• Total scores from the winning teams selected will determine your weekly total points, and we will have an overall standing.
• Lockout is Sunday 1pm ET (i.e. the start of the Sunday early slate of Games)

• This is a Knockout competition.
• Each week, you select ONE team who you expect to win.
• Tie means you are ELIMINATED! And you can only select each team ONCE, so choose wisely!

3 way tie with all three of us going down with the Bucs! I was close to picking the Browns but turns out it wouldn't have made a difference anyway.

Let you know that I am working on a doco that will outline the history / first 12 years under my reign. Knowing that it's continued, I'll pick up the detail in due course to add to the doco. Renown narration voices will be involved.

I agree. How about that that!! The Tomlin led Steelers squeezed into the play-offs after the turbulance off season with the QB controversy, the fast start, the typical midseason slump and scuffling December to leave the Division title door ajar to only fall in at the season finale SNF at the death....phew!! D.K. Metcalf returns from his suspension so WATCH OUT!!

Steelers will be the Cinderella nuisance value team.

I'll keep in touch... some other project I had on the back burner from 2019 is resuming..

Comp #3 - Drop Zone Elimination

• A comp correlated with weekly CR selections/ total scores.
• The culling of the lowest scorers of the week.
• Avoiding Week 18, we will start Week 4, and finish week 17 with a winner
• Comp to start WEEK 4 (Adjusted) with elimination of 1 team then 2 teams per week then 3 teams per week (see below), until we have a winner
  • Weeks 1-3 - no eliminations -> 34 active players
    Week 4 - 1 player eliminated -> 33 active players
    Weeks 5-11 - 2 players eliminated per week -> leaves us with 19 active players
    Weeks 12-17 - 3 eliminated per week -> leaves us with a winner
    Winner: TBA!

Hey samFFC I've had a go at updating this - I think I've got it right and please double check as by my calculations I won DZE this year! Won on countback in week 17 vs shiny_on_top by 1 pick after he forgot to put his tip in for the Wash/Dall game. Have included the tables below.

Again I could be wrong so please go back and double check my working out on this. I did the two countbacks based on winners tipped for that week so hopefully this is correct.

MojoTheMonkey ended up running away with the CR comp, beating MJC23 in 2nd by a very impressive 117 points which I think was even better than my win last year, a dominating season of tipping. Unlucky for MJC23 who was runner-up again, two very solid years of tipping.

Survivor was a three-way tie between myself, MojoTheMonkey & cygnus - all knocked out picking Tampa Bay in week 14.
