I'm not sold on 'greatest Gully field ever', but he is in the finals.

The point is, if he is so outstanding at gully, why put him at 2nd?

There must be someone else who can field at 1st and 2nd slip.

Well catches win matches so your best two catches should be in slips. Smith is elite have nothing to worry about there. Ussie only dropped one and Webster looks a fine option so I’m not moving Green yet, but post Smith it’ll have to be considered

Trav moving up the order to open at the expense of Khawaja is ****ing awesome for team balance.

Green will be a fantastic number 5, and we can blood new talent at 6 or bring Webster back in for additional bowling (not that we need it when games finish inside two days).

We need to rejuvenate the team, of that there is no doubt.

I have strong preferences, but honestly would be happy with any of the following at 6 for Brissy;

Webster, McSweeney, Renshaw, Sangha, Patterson, Kellaway or Konstas.

There’s aggressive batting then just being completely and utterly cavalier to the point of not valuing your wicket. Bazball encourages not valuing your wicket. In the hope of scratching out 250-300 runs and putting all the pressure on your bowling attack. It’s absolutely ludicrous.

Test cricket over with 60% of the allocated game time remaining. It’s an awful spectacle. Awful.

Our 2nd innings was a combination of the pitch flattening out and a terrible bowling strategy.

Our 1st innings has us unable to score runs with a consistent line and length in hard to play/score areas.

I mean, any batting side will struggle to score when the bowling side does that. We actually saw off the new ball very well but then got out to stupid shots.

Webster could come in at 6 and bowl either seam up or offies. Head can bowl as well if needed,and he is a bit of a golden arm.
