LOL when I typed that, thats exactly what went through my mind. Then on reflection, its still the same as 5 years ago.

Zurhaar is a strange hill to die on though. Given us some rare thrilling moments in a thoroughly unenjoyable period.

He's averaged 33 goals per season over the last 5 years. Not sure what else he could have done, probably spent many of those seasons as a makeshift CHF. And he kicked multiple goals this past season against Brissy, Geelong, Collingwood. He struggles against well set up defensive units like the Swan and Hawfs.

I'm A DY fan, love his passion and we shared some special moments in our dislike of Magoo, while most of the board found positives in what Magoo did do, we saw the truth. A grass guarding point post minder.

Simpkin I didn't mind but have lost most of the respect I had for him for a few reasons.

DY is not wrong with Cam. He is spot on with his assessment of not offering anything defensively and costs momentum with selfishness.

Duckyeah plays a game. He plays a game called +1. It is revolutionary to assessing a players worth in a team.

I have played this game for a long time because I see the game through a lense of players failing and buttering over their shit sandwiches with glorified statistics.

I sit on level 2 and invite my fellow north nuffy mates along and when I was 2 out we decided to play. He come around and saw things very differently when Jy was a negative player.

Cam is also a negative player despite goals because he is directly involved in goals going the other way because he does not pull his weight and/or a selfish campaigner that thinks he is eddie betts.

You can hold my opinion to scrutiny. His 2025 was far better than any other year but he still kicked majority of goals within 15m of the goal line, he is a joe the goose junk time specialist. People call Larkey Joe, Cam is equally a front runner down hill skier.

I really hope Wardlaw comes on, stays injury free and signs a contract because he is everything Cam is not and THATS what makes a gun footballer

Came 13th in the Syd on a 'games played' basis - that is, he was considered by the coaches to be in the worst half of players in one of the shittest teams in memory.

Yeah - he has his moments - (alot less than he did a few years ago) - but as for being a leader at the NMFC forget about it. He plays for himself and teammates can look after themselves.

He timed his new contract perfectly as we basically had no choice but to sign him.

Im thinking bye rounds. Unless the teams performances significantly shifts and his defensive efforts do also, he should be put on notice, the pine and be joining his mate Luke and Jy in the scoobs.

Be paying half his contract and sending him, fisher and logue back to WA … I am pretty happy to see logue is looking trim in Photos.. But they are just photos. Or they can all be sent across the Nullarbor back home

Controversial opinion, but until our coaches prove they can still actually coach this beautiful game of ours well, I take their opinions with a grain of salt.
