2 more forwards at the draft adding to our abundance of others where will this guy play. He looked best at half forward start of his career being able to take marks down the line from defence but don't what we will do With him now

Get John Travolta on the rookie listDance makes better footballers
The Duursma family matriarch, Susan, who owns a dance school in Gippsland, believes football and dance go hand in hand.
"It helps with his spring and his agility," she said.
"We work on a lot of core [strength] in dancing, so he has good core strength — and that all sort of transfers to sports."

I’m friends with him on Facebook, so I could just shoot him a DM and askReally interesting comments from his dad today talking about the 4 kids.
Said that Zane is fairly immature physically but employed a personal trainer and is fitter than he has ever been.
Also said he is clearly the most talented of the Duursmas.

Oh well, WCE will have pick 1 to offer us this year if he want to play with Will-I-Em and Harley..Interesting that he volunteered how much Xavier, Will & Yasmin loved their respective clubs. Didn't hear the same sentiment re Zane unfortunately.
Was about to say the same thing. Utterly bizarre comments. It feels weird hearing another dad publicly state that one of his kids is "clearly the most talented", haha.
Dean, dude, I don't think you're meant to say that.
lol, if it's factual there's nothing wrong with it.It feels weird hearing another dad publicly state that one of his kids is "clearly the most talented", haha.

And yet his old man is on radio talking how fit Zane is? He is miles back in the pecking order unfortunately. Another delayed pre season does not bode well at all.Zane currently has a knee issue, hence why he hasn't been training.
“I asked Zane what the problem is, he said he has ITB."
ITB (iliotibial band) knee injury is a common overuse injury that causes sharp pain on the outside of the knee, often triggered by activities like running. It is caused by irritation of the iliotibial band as it passes over the outer thigh bone, typically from repetitive stress due to factors like a sudden increase in activity or weak hip and knee muscles. Treatment involves rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medication, and physical therapy, which focuses on stretching, strengthening, and improving biomechanics.”
Might also just be his Dad trying to upsell his underperforming son. He needs a bit of a lift in terms of his confidence that he will make it as an AFL player.Bloody interesting that he reckons Zane is the most talented...
might be a back handed compliment - ie. he should be doing better. Was about to say the same thing. Utterly bizarre comments.
He is helping us on the trade value front if it doesn’t work out. I hope it does work out.Bloody interesting that he reckons Zane is the most talented...
It's like those ADHD kids who smash years school until year 11 then struggle when they've actually gotta study and can't wing it anymore.
Either all due respect to Papa Duursma - How can he make a call on Willem who has been at the Weagles all of a New York minute and has not even played a game.Interesting that he volunteered how much Xavier, Will & Yasmin loved their respective clubs. Didn't hear the same sentiment re Zane unfortunately.
So he's done **** all running for years, has coasted on his natural god given talent, has gotten to the AFL and realised holy shit I might need to extract the digit, gone and gotten a personal trainer and overdone the running. Bless himZane currently has a knee issue, hence why he hasn't been training.
