That was 5 games wasted on Murphy, rather than getting games into a young talent who likely would have performed better.

What a waste of 600 minutes of AFL game time.

Ohh wait, wasnt he selected in the 22 on TWO occasions, selected as a SUB on TWO occasions and was a late replacement as a SUB on one occasion makes five. As I stated in the selection threads, I wouldn’t have played Murphy in the games against Hawthorn and Collingwood but we tried heaps of players in the SUB role and none of them stood out.

Let’s not over egg the pudding.

Cook doesnt do enough and Pedlar is probably a victim of his injuries. Nankervis should be definitely someone who will make it.

Can play, but just needs continuity without getting injured.

It's been the biggest problem sp far in his career.

A lot to love with Pedlar, but why is he always looking so puffed? I mean always. He’s heaving for breath.

Just looks exhausted so often.

Any position that Spud Murphy played.

I did hear that the penny has finally dropped in regards to his off field professionalism over the last 12 months.

Hard to keep PAC boys on the straight and narrow. Growing up underneath Saints shadow wouldn’t be easy, so it’s no surprise they let loose a bit after they finish year 12.

He’s experienced enough and paid enough to deliver more. HB and wing aren’t the same but they’re as close as any 2 posns.

The only way to compare is this.
Wayne Milera’s stats in a team that finished minor premier with the responsibility of moving the ball from half back.

Isaac Cumming with a developing GWS having the the same positional responsibility before he started getting moved around and the injuries . His 2021 season was just as good. If he is not even given a chance by Nicks at playing his best position on a footy field then he is being sold short.

Agree with that.

Isaac played game 1 left wing
2 a bit of both
3,4,5 left wing
6 + mostly right wing and we started using Dan more.

Just a crack at half back please Nicksy

Unfortunately we've heard this every time a similar choice has been made in the last 30 years.
