It is quite staggering to the level which people on here think there is some crazy amount of moral outrage about the podcast episode in question and everything stemming from it, when in reality that less than 0.05% of members made a complaint to the Club about said episode, with a similar amount of statements sent to the Club from members supporting Tredders' position as a Board member. And all of these comments, supporting and condemning, were only sent to the Club AFTER the media made this a front page headline story some 5ish weeks after the episode was first published.
No one gave a shit when it was published, and even when it was brought to the forefront of everyone's mind many weeks later, they still didn't give a shit.
And yet somehow there are people deluded enough on here to think that the next step in Tredders' crusade of rebellion is a siege at Wieambilla or to be the next Dezi Freeman.
The hyperbole and extrapolation of such frivolous bullshit on this forum will never cease to amaze me.

What seems to be lost in this discussion is that the club was actually fine with Tredrea continuing as a board member on the proviso that he issued a formal public apology. Him refusing to do so is what ultimately led to his dismissal from the board.
I have seen the draft apology that Tredrea was to put his name to and I have to say that it wasn't at all unreasonable and actually didn't go much further than the informal Instagram post he himself made distancing himself from the comments at the start of the saga.
I suspect Tredrea himself doesn't particularly care about not being on the board anymore. His feelings likely mirror the feelings of most on this board - he's already done the job he was voted onto the board to do. Any angst from his end is now likely just his ego v Koch's ego.
Guy Pearce has been getting plenty of practice at that recently.

Tredrea has also had plenty of perfectly fine guests on the same show. The show actually isn't an insane crackpotfest week in week out.
Unfortunately he seems to conduct the show like Joe Rogan, not really challenging anyone who comes on. He simply needed to challenge this dude when he was on, or alternatively as you say, make a very simple apology distancing himself from the guest afterwards.
The biggest issue is that he can't swallow his pride and he can't do what he's told. It goes against his "truth teller" ethos and how he brands himself.
I tend to agree that this could have been settled very simply with everyone having long moved on if he wanted it to. And that proves it's time for him to move on, if he's not willing to make the smallest sacrifice to hold his position and help the club.

It's not even a fake apology. Tredrea would genuinely not agree with the extreme ends of this guy's opinions.
He effectively did apologise via Instagram, but when he was asked to do so formally by the club he couldn't do it, because then his yes wouldn't be yes anymore.

I mean it's been put forth by a few here that Tredrea may infact agree with the extreme ends of what was said, so I dunno where you are getting that idea.
Right. So we are back to him being forced to apologise for something somebody else said. Once again I applaud him for not pretending.
He's giving social media a miss after a couple of controversies - one where he reckons straight actors should be able to play gay/trans roles (funny that), or if not maybe gay/trans actors should only be allowed to play gay/trans roles. He apologised for that. More recently he's been upsetting a certain group with his support for Gaza, not helping himself by retweeting stuff by Nick Fuentes. He's humbly apologised for that too. Like Mel Gibson, he might have to produce his own movies from now on.
The kinds of people who stick to their guns and dont apologise when they arent wrong are the kind of people who win premierships.
Lol give it up guys.
