What is annoying is not being able to (on the app anyway) swap a now not IRd player out for a now IRd player. So I basically have to cut a player to make space to move one off IR to put the other one on.

I think they will be IR eligible in the coming days. If not get Jeebs to look into it, maybe its a new designation that hasn't been ticked off as eligible, ive got the same issue with Spears

It's because IRD players weren't eligible for IR due to people leaving too many players on IR when they could move them back. So, it reduced the amount of players that could go on it in the first place.

I've activated it, but let's be a bit more honest with the system even if FF doesn't have the same enforcement rules on submitting lineups etc. like MFL for example for the sake of the best opportunity for a healthy/useful FA pool.

Yeah but Designated to Return means in 4 weeks at minimum. Its still IR. Might be a new setting.

I'm not disputing if it's 'still technically IR' or not, TBH if they're worth it holding a spot for 4 games shouldn't be that big of a deal and potentially forces some tough decisions which can be only good for a fun league, that has minimal movement elsewhere, if you have some bad luck with major injury issues.

Reasoning is above and it's been changed for now. As a collective let's just agree to try not leave players with no designation on IR for multiple weeks this season just because the system allows it.
