During the recent sales on the PS store I bought Watch_Dogs:Legion with all DLC for under twenty bucks. My WORD was this game unfairly maligned. I am having so much fun with it. Yeah it's a bit different to the other two in the series but I actually get what they were going for with the recruitment idea.

Different people. Different skills. DedSec is the sum of its parts.
Im keen on this, what's the gameplay like? Is it a shooter, brawler or spy/spook game?

I gave this skate story game a whirl yesterday. It's not for me, but I don't think its a good game anyway. I don't know how these Indy games manage to get the hype they do.

It's a bit Grand Theft Auto-ish, but with more hacking! There's 3 games in the series so far, the first is set in Chicago, USA, the second in San Francisco, USA and the third one is set in near-future London, UK where a far right government has taken power. All are bit different from one another but in my opinion they are all worth playing.

DedSec is modeled on real-world hacktivist group Anonymous.

Playing the Outer Worlds 2, I've just kinda ****ed myself. Pretty close to the end, was talking to some chick who was a little too demandy, so told her to get stuffed and ended up starting a war with a faction. Played for a little bit then decided to reload, but my earliest auto save was the start of the fight and my manual save was about 3 hours old. Bugger.

Nothing worse than having to retread hours of stuff youve already done.

I just accepted the flaw where I now automatically accept every flaw so Im curious how much that ****s up my playthrough.

Got back up to where I was in a bit over an hour, only to find the quest is bugged and regardless of what answers I choose, I piss off one faction or the other. Looked it up and others are having the same issue. Good times.

Switch 2

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Feel like this deserves more love. Early environments are beautiful. Music got a bit of a Halo vibe to it.

PC

The Outer Worlds 2 - I am Obsidian fanboy $1 ticket holder. Loved the first one, this one is sick too. Went to do one mission and ended up doing 50 other things in between.

Steamdeck

Dispatch - My mrs walked in as I was deciding between going on a date with my boss or the alt emo girl. Judging looks aside, was happy with my movie date with the alt girl. Wholly unique game and just totally invested in the story. Love seeing the stats after a chapter what everyone else has done.

Hades II - Had ignored this a fair bit with my Megabonk addiction (which I'm still playing too). Loved the first one but this has somehow made the gameplay even more crisp. I'm only early doors but already have that one more run mood in my head.

430 hours into FC26 ultimate team. Don't know why, can't shake it even though I suck (divs 6-7 in rivals). I think it's just logging in daily to objectives and menu grind.

A couple hours into Silent Hill 2 remake. It's not as bad as I thought it would be but from what I read I am dreading an area further into the game. I read a comment not long ago that was something like "if you want to get into horror games you can rip the bandaid off and play something like Alan Wake 2, or you can rip your arm off and play Silent Hill 2 and if you get through that you'll suddenly be able to play most games in the genre". I loved Alan Wake 2 and didn't find it "scary" at all besides the jump scares. I love psychological horror so I think that's why both of these games are working for me. I also bought Cronos New Dawn and Hell is Us on the current Steam sales so I think that's my Christmas holidays sorted.
