philreich: So huge congratulations to the Dragons for claiming the S40 premiership, and particular adulation must go to PhenomenalV1, for claiming his third straight flag, after being a member of the Hawks teams in S38 and S39. I wonder if he'll now start receiving PM's from 12 rival teams - maybe he's the good luck charm they lacked this season. (edit - since I wrote this, he's announced his retirement, so please disregard my last statement)

Falconista: Fantastic from the Dragons who were down but proved not to be out. The fourth team to four premierships is quite an achievement. Sadness but no shame for the Roys today, who were a worthy opponent and should be proud of their finish to the season.

MWPP: What a finish! Well done to the Dragons on your impressive comeback S40 premiership win. Commiserations to the unlucky Roys who fought strongly throughout and would be left ruing their inaccuracy. They even had two extra scoring shots.

As somebody who has never won a flag but has lost multiple grand finals - I mean it when I say this result does hurt, but it also doesn't take anything away from an otherwise successful season for the Roys. All the best for S41.

FootyGuy13: One of the all-time collapses from the Roys here, 4 goals 5 to 1 goal after dominating the third quarter will stay with this team alongside every other time the Roys have had missing quarters. It's, uh, a very well documented cade with this team.
