None of which changes the fact this doesn't happen if Hamas didn't start it with their attack on innocent civilians attending a musical festival....only a moron would think that wasn't the catalyst for what followed. Hamas were the morons if they thought Israel wouldn't retaliate in force..
Retaliation was the aim all the time. They knew Israel would. Its always about getting worlds opinion on their side. They dont care about their own people.

WTF even is this post.
Its pretty easy to read and comprehend my comment if you remove that current red mist thats covering your eyesight at the moment.

We live in a time when the government warn us all to be vigilant.

Since 9/11, terrorism and the extra security measures required is something all organisations (private companies, schools, sporting facilities/organisations, all festivals, religious events etc etc) have all had to consider when organising events..

Just an unfortunate fact of life.

Not sure why you are struggling with this very basic concept.

Why is this Jewish religious celebration any different?

Moreso actually, given the Jewish organisations themselves have been extremely vocal about increasing threats being made to their communities in the past two years.

I’m simply asking the questions…

Who made the decision to hold such a publicly accessable event in these dangerous times?..

Did they consider moving the event to a different location?

Did they formally request extra police presence?

Are these not reasonable questions to be asking?

I mean if the ACA was given a warning this afternoon that there is a possibility a terrorist attack could occur at Adelaide oval sometime during the Asher test.. do they just go about things as normal? Or do they look to make changes?

Fxxk me.. Your only solution to everything so far seems to be to invent a time machine and go back to god only knows what year in the past and stop all immigration from the countries that have people you dont like.. and while were at it.. dont touch the gun laws!

And you reckon my posts are strange!.. yours are nothing short of fcckn delusional..

Bondi killer Sajid Akram transferring house to wife Venera could be ultimate ‘insult to victims’

Bondi shooter Sajid Akram transferred ownership of his home into his wife’s name two years before Sunday’s terror attack. A leading terror expert says it proves he had been “planning this for a long time”.

The widow of Bondi shooter Sajid Akram will not lose her home if victims of Australia’s worst terrorist attack launch legal action for compensation against his estate.
The 50-year-old transferred ownership of their Bonnyrigg home to his wife Venera almost two years before he and son Naveed, 24, killed 15 innocent people and wounded more than 40 more.

Former Counter-Terrorism Minister David Elliott said the transfer of ownership in February last year showed the attack had been years in the making.

“This clearly proves in my mind he has been planning this for a long time,” Mr Elliott said.

“It would be a safe assumption for him to think that his assets were going to be seized by the state or victims of the crime he was about to commit.”
Sajid and Venera Akram bought the home on Brown Rd at Bonnyrigg in August 2016 for $700,000.

In February 2024, they transferred the property into Venera’s sole ownership for half its then value of $477,500.

NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon yesterday confirmed Sajid Akram finally successfully received the gun licence that allowed him to legally own six powerful rifles in 2023 – just before the transfer went through.

There is no suggestion Venera Akram knew about the attack or her husband’s reason for transferring the property to her, nor is there any suggestion of wrongdoing by her.
Criminal lawyer Sam Macedone said victims could apply for compensation through the NSW government-funded Victims Support Scheme and separately sue the killer’s estate for damages.

“But if he has moved everything into his wife’s name and his estate has no assets then anyone suing him or his estate will get nothing,” he said.

“This just goes to show that this had been planned some time ago,” Mr Macedone said.

“It is the final insult to the victims.

“He has done this on the basis that if anything happens to him and people sue they cannot take his wife’s house.”

Is that even allowed under Sharia law? ;)

Why do the Palestinian people cpntinue to harbour these Hamas cretins when it's they that end up being the ones that suffer most from Hamas's actions, it's beggar's belief.

Are you really stupid enough to think that this started with October 7th? This has been going for decades. Don't answer that question, we all know the answer.

The reason anti-semitism has increased though has been the disproportionality of Israel's response to October 7th - the war crimes and genocide that they have committed in the name of "responding to 7th October". Had Israel's response been proportionate, and had they taken care not to commit genocide or war crimes, then anti-semitic sentiment would be much lower, and Israel would have a HELL of a lot more sympathy than they do now.

Without Israel's completely over-the-top response, we don't have a massive rise in anti-semitism and we probably don't have Bondi. Having said that, Israel probably don't go completely over-the-top without Hamas' actions on 7th October, though they were looking for a pretext for taking out Hamas long before 7th October.

Come on.. surely you cant be that ignorant Bicks. And you cant honestly think we are all that stupid..

This tit for tat nonsense between Israel and Palestine hasnt been going on since oct 6.. only a moron would try and rewrite history and claim this all started on Oct 6.

Its been going on for fxxkn decades now. And the destabilisation of the entire middle east that it has caused has been a massive factor in the terrorist attrocities we’ve seen all over the world in the past few decades..

Both sides are equally culpable.. both sides are guilty of slaughtering innocent people..

All in the name of their chosen sky fairy that, even though he is “apparently” all powerful and controls everything, doesnt seem to be able to put a stop to it!..

This all stops when the Israeli’s and the Palestinians pull their fxxkn heads in.

And anyone, like you, that takes a side in this.. is simply enabling its continuation.. it feeds further into the hate.

The entire world needs to stand together and tell these two nations its time to put a stop this nonsense.

Until we do.. nothing will change.

Surely there is a way to take the fxxkn house off her.. especially given the lie regarding the price of the home on the transfer docs.

Thats fraud.

How is it fraud? He could have sold it to her for $1 and it wouldn't have been fraud.

Just because something has a market value of $X doesn't mean that there is any obligation to sell it at that price. Buyer and Seller can agree on any price.

Just an unfortunate fact of life.

Being gunned down on a beach is not just “an unfortunate fact of life”.

You’re proposing that regular Australians live in fear and have a security presence everywhere instead of our elected leaders actually identifying the source of the foreign issue, removing it from Australian society with extreme prejudice, and resolving not to import any more of it.

Absolutely f*cking insane.

I understand the security argument if the person mounting it is also facing the reality of what’s causing the security issue and proposing we do something about it.

Having a security detail for a gathering on the beach is not a sustainable way to live life in a first world country.

Clam’s mentality is “don’t go outside, folks” and in the next breath ‘there is no national security problem with our immigration policies!”

Does the self-contradiction get any more ****ing absurd than that?

We live in a shrinking globe. Underlying all this is the West obliterating the Middle East for the better part of 4 decades, so people need to flee to other countries, which is the migrant crisis. Ignore all the wonderful, immersive immigrants and focus on the bad ones. Meanwhile, Tarrant an Aussie goes to NZ to kill 50 muslims in a mosque and he's just a mentally ill bad egg, nothing to see here.

Come on Slippery.. atleast quote what I said in its entirety.. not just cherry pick to suit your agenda..

I said

“Since 9/11, terrorism and the extra security measures required is something all organisations (private companies, schools, sporting facilities/organisations, all festivals, religious events etc etc) have all had to consider when organising events..

Just an unfortunate fact of life.”

How could anyone in their right mind not agree with this?

We (the West) have definitely played a very large part in completely fxxking up the stability of the Middle East..

Even well before that “weapons of mass destruction” dumb****ery that happened in Iraq..

Chickens and roosting comes to mind..

Sometimes you just have to accept that you fxxked up.. And
now we will have to use all our powers and resources to rectify the situation and root out any more terrorist cells, lone wolfs or father/son extremist dogs that are waiting for their opportunity to attack our way of life.

It could be a little bit of an overreaction from me.. but like I said in a previous post today.. it might be wise to steer clear of any religious based or christmas events like chrissy carols etc for the time being..

You’ve combined a lot of different issues here.

I’m not, and never have, suggesting rounding people up and deporting them based on their group identity.

Shutting the gates to this type of immigration is easy though. And should be done right now. In fact it should’ve been done years ago.

As for what this government has done with immigration specifically, well, it’s well documented. As an example, we know that roughly 70% of Palestinians support what happened on October 7.

How many Palestinians has Albanese let into the country in the last couple of years? That’s an accident waiting to happen, and it could happen next week or 30 years down the track, like it did with this psychopath on Sunday.

This is not a commentary on Israel/Palestine either. I’m well aware that atrocities are committed on both sides.

It is a commentary about us not importing problems.

But the shooters weren't Palestinian.

We now know the dad was an Indian national who arrived here in 1998, and his son is an Australian citizen born here in 2001.

So thinking retrospectively about your suggestion to blanket ban certain groups from migrating here, what could've been done to prevent this specific event from happening?
  • Should we have banned Indian migrants going back to the Howard era? That's a million people and their descendants, good luck.
  • Ban only Muslim migrants from India or other countries? That's easy enough to fudge.
As I said the other day, I work with some extraordinarily intelligent, talented and kind people who've migrated from India and other developing countries. Equally I know some feckless idiots and criminals who migrated here from the UK and South Africa. And vice versa.

The point is, there is enormous variation in education levels, technical skills, English proficiency, values and socioeconomic status not only across countries but within them too. That's why if we're truly interested in attracting the best and brightest we need to assess prospective migrants on a case-by-case basis and tighten this up further if we have to, not making racist blanket rules based on the colour of their skin or the country they're born in. It's neither practical nor in our national interest to go down this path.

Also, self-evidently given these shooters have been here for 30 years, this wasn't imported extremism. It was developed while these men lived here, within our own borders.
A big part of the solution therefore clearly needs to be about better surveillance and powers to detect and deal with these extremist networks.

About as stupid as you deflecting away from what I stated, all this retaliation is clearly a result of what has happened on and since October 7... to deny that which you're making a really poor effort to do is the stupidity, anything that has happened since is all down to Hamas, no ifs ands or buts.

The shooters weren't Palestinian.

I know that. I’m questioning the wisdom of Albanese bringing in thousands of them in the last couple of years.

As I said the other day, I work with some extraordinarily intelligent, talented and kind people who've migrated from India and other developing countries. Equally I know some feckless idiots and criminals who migrated here from the UK and South Africa. And vice versa.

No argument with that, but the effect of immigration on a country isn’t assessed at the margins. It’s assessed by the overall impact.

When third-world migration is large-scale and poorly targeted, the social, criminal, cultural and infrastructure problems are predictable. We’ve seen this pattern repeatedly in other countries. The evidence is overwhelming. How much more do you need?

Australia’s migration intake in recent years has not been a tightly targeted program, and, like the UK and Europe, the consequences have become increasingly visible.

Also, self-evidently given these shooters have been here for 30 years, this wasn't imported extremism, it was developed while these men lived here, within our own borders.

That only reinforces the case for drawing firm limits on migration from the third world, because the consequences are not short-term, they persist across generations.
