See Sydney is putting bollards in place for New Years.

We had them in place for the whole of Ramadan, right?
Do you mean the same quality Bollards that prevent vehicles from entering / exiting shopping centres .....they work well

Did they catch the person in the stolen vehicle? It said he was still at large in the clip.
I don't think so .....it would be highly unusual to actually catch a criminal ;)

Bowen has been working feverishly already on banning petrol/diesel vehicles with little success but that won't stop the little weasel. 😉
Gonna be a big amnesty bin!

Chinese steel no doubt

And their ability to be stolen 😆
To be fair, most cars these days are stolen by people breaking into homes and taking the owner's keys - not by breaking into the vehicle itself.

** Sadly, I know this from personal experience.

EV's have keys?, how vintage...

Australia set to miss 2030 renewable energy target by up to a decade
The Albanese government’s flagship target of 82 per cent renewable energy by 2030 now looks highly unlikely to be achieved as developers grapple with delays.

The Albanese government faces a delay of up to a decade to reach its 82 per cent renewable energy target, with developers unable to build enough green capacity in time as planning bottlenecks and approval lags stunt momentum.

Thieves are using a new method to steal Toyotas, Landcruisers are being heavily targeted by disconnecting a headlight or side indicator to gain access to the wiring and then connecting a CAN computer to it.

This disables the security system, opens the doors and allows for the vehicle to be stolen in under two minutes.

Albo is refusing a royal commission on Bondi.

If he wasn't weak and spineless enough, now he doesn't want to face the truth.

Guy should just resign and let someone with a backbone do the job
What “truth” is that?

That his government has done more to tackle antisemitism than any other in federal history?.. including;

Appointed special envoy to combat antisemitism
Established Special Operation Avalite to investigate antisemitic threats and attacks
Banned nazi saultes and symbols
Introduced legislation that criminalised hate speech
Gave 32 million to synagogues to increase security
Upgraded holocuast education facilities nationwide
Improved information sharing between state and federal police to prevent antisemitic attacks

So… While we have got you spenze.. can you please provide us all with a list of what the LNP did when last in power to stop antisemitism..

You know.. so we can compare the pair..

Id ask you what pauline has done just incase you were a one nation voter.. but given Pauline likes to attend Nazi rally’s and listen to Thomas Sewell speak from time to time.. I’m not really thinkin it would be a very large list..

I asked mutineer the same question a few days ago, to see if he could provide a list for the LNP and, as usual.. got crickets..

Be a good lad and achieve for us what Mutineer couldn’t..

At least ALP have a target, as better than aiming for nothing! But yes, the 82% looks a long way off. As a guess more likely around 2 3rds, which is still tracking the right way.

Some renewable generation %'s to get an idea of growth, remembering this does not include household solar that never makes the grid, so understated.

2021 29%
2022 35%
2023 35%
2024 36%
2025 43%

Was pretty flat til this year with an increase in batteries... which will be the key going forward.
