England finally worked out that they just need to survive the spells from Starc and Boland, then they can feast on the rest of the Australian bowlers. The attack has looked pretty toothless when those two aren't bowling.

In fairness I don’t think Cummins was really fit enough even for Adelaide and only played because he didn’t want to miss out. They aren’t even expecting him to be fit the T20 World Cup and that’s still a month away from starting.

Green would be lucky to get a game for the Scorchers now too, I wouldn't be picking him ahead of Mitch Marsh or Hardie.

Just 5 tests too late. This is where Bazball failed the first 2 tests. They’re still scoring at nearly 5 an over playing smart cricket.

The first 2 tests you just needed to get through the first hour or so and let the ball soften and it got better for batting.
