Don't put words in our mouth. Ginbey was a spud as a midfielder. He's a handy KPD with room for improvement.

Eagles fans were hanging their hat on Ginbey being a high quality defender because Jezza apparently gave him some positive feedback. We were needing more than that to annoint him Bruce Doull, that's all.

I make one comment about a West Coast player and you Richmond mouth breathers are out in force😂

Vlastuin, Oscar Allen, LDU, Cunnington and Laird are the previous 5 B&F runners up at the wooden spooners. That looks like a pretty handy group of players to me and none of them did that as a 20 year old like Ginbey.

Let's be honest if he was at Richmond you guys would be fapping like crazy over Ginbey. He'd be your best performed under 25 by a country mile.

Instead you're left praying guys like Brown, Trezise or Sonsie might finally come good, Gibcus might not be permanently crocked with injury and that kids who have barely played are automatically going to be superstars. Good luck with that. I'll take the proven quality player going into his 4th season thanks.
