It's difficult to see One Nation making a MAGA/Reform style hostile takeover of conservative politics in this country. Unlike the other two which can at least claim to be a grassroots uprising, however that much might be bullshit, ON have been around for thirty years now and in that time have achieved two parts of f*** all.
I could see ON taking a stronghold if they actually had an engaging and competenet leader. The more exposure Hanson & Joyce get, the worse they look.

I'd say most of those choosing to vote for ON in these polls don't know about their policies other than anti-immigration. It's close to a single issue party.

Like many minor parties, ON would totally fall to pieces if given the task of being an actual opposition with policies etc.
Yep - this is what happened with the Coalition last time. Polls for months in the lead up to the last election showed the Liberals were on track to win. However, when it came to the point where they had to tell people what they were going to do if people voted for them, they, along with their polling, fell apart due to them forgetting to come up with actual decent policies in three years they were in opposition when they were focused on "fighting the culture wars", etc. All they came up was stuff taken from the Trump book, and their nuclear energy plan which was clearly just a coverup to try and delay the end of coal for as long as possible.

Albo might be struggling with polling right now, but that's because all the Coalition and other opposition parties have the advantage of standing there yelling "he is doing the wrong thing", etc. He might lose a few seats, however, I don't think this event will result in him losing too many seats - he will still have a healthy majority.

Yep - I suspect when come election time and they have to put forward policies on other issues, the numbers will either stagnate, or go back down.

LNP has been more of the same criticising Albos character and got a lot of
Media exposure post bondi

The result is a flow of percentage away more than that of the ALP

Can you imagine the pressure (both overt and covert) if Albanese, or any Australian PM, would be under from Trump, Netanyahu and both pro and anti Israel lobby groups if we went anywhere near this thing.

We shouldn't go anywhere near this or anything the Orange Hitler puts his hands on.

getting sucked into that Israel setup would not only be appalling judgment, the repercussions domestically would be huge.

Even if he was seriously considering it, surely one of their pollsters is going to show him the data on how Trump is regarded here and what close association did for Dutton.

That presupposes Labor understands how much of an impact Trump's election and first few months in office had on our election, and don't just think the voters finally came around and realised how good their policies were.

People literally post "Burn down the mosques or deport them all" on random Facebook accounts after Bondi. Do you think they deserve 3 years in prison?
Yes... Is that such a hard concept to get you're head around (the burning of the mosques... Deport them all probably doesn't quite meet my threshold for inciting racially based violence/hate speech).

My fear is that given Trump is nothing but a common gangster, he will make Australia an offer we can't refuse.

The Trump administration is already three parts protection racket anyway.

I will join the riots if Albanese does this.

The USA can go **** themselves.

What offer? He is already asking Australia for a $1 Billion.

Marque Lawyers gotta be one of the more ignorant people on the planet.

Not surprising that's where you get your opinions from.

Pay $1billion now and totally get those sweet, sweet hotel deals on beach front property when Israel finishes bombing the shit out of Gaza or something like that

I don't like the idea of Australia paying 1 billion dollarsfor a board seat, so hopefully we don't pursue this.
