Point system ain’t going to work when country has it in play and metro is as good as open slather .Hmm. Sounds legitimate.
Demonstrates why the salary cap is useless.
Points is the only way forward towards equality

Yeah fair point. Unless all leagues adopt a standard points system country/metro is screwedPoint system ain’t going to work when country has it in play and metro is as good as open slather .
I could name 10 without trying!ringo1 all vic leagues told today that all the rumours about clubs cheating the salary are just that , ‘ rumours ‘ and an attempt to quantify that statement included outlining how many audits have been done and the low percentage that have been caught![]()

Id think o&m pay more than geelong, Moe, north central top 5 clubs last year, Wimmera clubs, some sunraysia clubs, port fairy would be all at the pointy end, not sure any gv clubs would be in the top 20 in country VicAll five finalists in Geelong...
I'm not sure its just the payments...cheap cars, cheap car leases amongst other things.Id think o&m pay more than geelong, Moe, north central top 5 clubs last year, Wimmera clubs, some sunraysia clubs, port fairy would be all at the pointy end, not sure any gv clubs would be in the top 20 in country Vic
How ironic that would be . The whole state has to incur what is was already known to be a faulty system due to Albury and Yarrawonga’s dominance and then the o&m is one of the biggest breaches of the system ???Id think o&m pay more than geelong, Moe, north central top 5 clubs last year, Wimmera clubs, some sunraysia clubs, port fairy would be all at the pointy end, not sure any gv clubs would be in the top 20 in country Vic
Shep Bears playing North Heidelberg March 14 in AvenelInterested to hear when clubs are starting praccy matches this year if anyone knows? Heard that Rochy have an intra-club tomorrow morning in Moama that if true I'll attend. Any other games around the area coming up?
How have you been mate ? How is your side shaping up for 2026 I’d like to get down to that one with both sides fielding strong squads should be a good hit out cheersShep Bears playing North Heidelberg March 14 in Avenel

All good Swoop! Bit of change but lots of youth and young guns in, Angus McLennan straight from stkilda at 22 pick of the bunch. Bit of change but have 70+ on our senior list, 50 of them 24 and under. How have you been mate ? United won pretty comfortably in a 6 quarter affair. From what I saw Rovers only had 4-5 of their Round 1 senior lineup out on the park. The rest were reserves players. Not sure what strength United were atUnited and Rovers played yesterday? Anybody got some info on that?
Heine and Rasmussen must have improved vastly over the summer Creter which is a good thing as players in their age bracket will need to step up for Rochy to contend again.Who was impressive in the match sims across the grounds?
Heine and Rasmussen looked class in the Rochy match sim. Newbies White and Fogarty also caught the eye. Surprised to see Heine still out there!
Rochesters in's still outweighing their departures?Linc Sieben another to leave Rochester. Signed at Spotswood.
Sieben carrying points. You would expect a local kid to fill his spot.Rochesters in's still outweighing their departures?

He would have been 3 points so that is the positive. Also heard that James McPhee has sustained a knee injury that might keep him out most of the year. You'd hope that Waters, H Wileman, Joyce from the thirds who played a couple of seniors games last year and a couple of other young fellas have had big pre seasons to build the depth.Sieben carrying points. You would expect a local kid to fill his spot.
Would be touch and go but new blood is a good thing and can bring new energy and drive to the core playersRochesters in's still outweighing their departures?
Sieben would have been in the bottom 4 of that GF team while carrying 4 points.Would be touch and go but new blood is a good thing and can bring new energy and drive to the core players
I’ve heard from multiple people Mooroopna’s facing some trouble . 14 attended their training camp and 9 of those were u18’s.So where about a month out, great hearing about the ins and outs of the teams and what is shaping up to a good year.
The western clubs seem to be the strongest this year, Shepp clubs seem to be some improvement for united and bears. Haven't heard much about swans and Mooroopna. Seems to be quite down at the lions den and Benalla and Euroa seem to have picked a couple. Mansfield are always dangerous
All great hearing about recruits, but like to know if clubs are having good numbers a month out especially for the 2s.
Mmmmmm sounds familar!I’ve heard from multiple people Mooroopna’s facing some trouble . 14 attended their training camp and 9 of those were u18’s.
