Indians and non muslims in the subcontinent do drink and go large but it’s a different culture. In fact liver cirrhosis is a huge killer in that part of the world due to their large consumption of spirits and the fact that unlike Europeans drinking heavily is relatively new to them (after colonisation).

Heavy sugar use in their diet (more so their desserts) too. I had some Indian dessert once and I'll struggle to find anything sweeter.

I reckon the bowl of Gulab Jamun at the local Indian buffet joint is at least a decade old. Every now and then you see someone take one and it's always a pisser to watch them attempt to eat it.

I've made similar observations too. Asian and Indian food, generally, is outstanding. Except desserts.

I'm not certain we will get the complete reset a coach from outside the 4 walls may have brought but hopefully we see some uptick in players developing. Morris and Jhye having some availability would be nice too.

I've got fears about ever seeing Morris again. Jhye, who knows if he'll ever get back to his absolute best? The main lynchpin of the attack is Joel Paris though. If he can play 7+ games we'll look like a different unit.

Was gonna say “is that second highest run getter this season?” But after seeing Bangers average i’m not gonna say that. The pitches in the shield need to change. The top 9 all averaged under 40(4 of them batsmen under 35). Last season 9 batsmen scored more runs that this years leader *so far
