Cool change has come through but no rain. Winds are now pushing the fire towards my place. Can't get to Franklin Tavern road is blocked they ain't letting anyone down there even residents. Theres not much I can do about my house. Just got to hope for the best. Fireies have been doing an awesome job. I'm amazed more properties haven't been lost.

I've been evacuated from home due to the bush fires. Stuck in Huonville in my tent. They are saying we could be here for 3 weeks or even longer.

I’ve not heard the second part of the story, but I instantly assumed he was probably a little campaigner and deserved it, common sense would dictate that a principal wouldn’t do it for no reason.

Of course the family denies it and a few mums out the front still thought he did the wrong thing.
My folks wouldn’t have been bothered by it and I would have copped a lot worse when I got home if I did anything like that. His parents probably let him get away with murder though I’m tipping.

My own 13 year old daughter had a kid kick a pregnant teacher at her school too last year and some teachers copped heaps of shit from students and parents alike for the way they spoke to him.

My brother wasn’t a fan of school and this was still 20-25 years ago, my dad told them if he was being a problem give him a swift foot up the arse, they were horrified and after that mum went alone haha
Some kids are just little campaigners and need to be given hard lessons.

It’s a horrible thing to go through and I hate to say it but the way things are playing out here in Vic I can see a shit weekend coming up.
