Still can’t get over this headline. It has ruined my week.

if it makes you feel any better, go and like and retweet my tweet to Tom about it :p

I’m giving the AFL the benefit of the doubt and saying that they know it won’t change anything, they’ve introduced it to appease the whingers.
Yes. I agree. So-called major rule changes will probably just turn out to be lip service.
To be fair, Fremantle and Sydney defensive tactics in recent years were terrible as a spectacle.
Richmond is one of the worst teams for stoppages, so freeing up space should benefit on balance.
Soccer, rugby league, are in turmoil so I do not think the AFL needs to rock the boat.

When you watch the video of the Collingwood banner breaking, you see Buckley greet each player as they run out.
He copied that from Captain Cotch.
Collingwood copied everything except holding a premiership trophy aloft.
Couldn’t lift it as a player,
Won’t lift it as a coach.

I have a question. What was Maverick Weller’s knock for him to get delisted by St Kilda? Is it that he did not get enough of the ball or were his disposals not good enough for them?

Surely there was an obvious reason why St Kilda delisted him.

Talked with a few saints supporter mates and said he had an awesome season a few years back but hasn’t reached the same heights since

But all have said that they didn’t want to lose him
Maybe he fell out with the coach or something behind the scenes

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we picked both Weller and Kingsley up in the sane off season

Oh I see, I haven’t thought of this reason before. I kinda thought he was a staple for the St Kilda side, which is why his delisting surprised me. Oh well, let’s hope he goes well at Richmond.

Also read that he’s very close with Caddy, Dion and Lynch from when they were drafted to the suns together might explain why he ended up with us to an extent but would be still interested to know why he left the saints

Clearly has issue's getting his hand on it and then getting it up.

had a good 2016 where he maintained his average 16-17 poss 4 tackles games but his goal kicking was improved where he averaged 1 goal a game
Currently going by his past performances and position he played looks to be surplus to our needs as a small fwd but maybe kingsley & the coaches have other plans for him. Or maybe just depth player due to our recent departures of Miles,Ellis , Conca & Lloyd giving us time for the new kids to get a year or 2 under their belts

Its fun watching them give up a 5 goal lead and lose the grand final in the final 2 minutes

I asked a St Kilda supporting mate...

“Terrible skills. Little output. Rates himself. Will easily be your worst mid. Was alright in 2016 or 2015”

Anyone got any definitive info on how Lynch is going? So many conflicting reports about. He’s not coming along as expected to he’s fit and firing. The mixed news has me worried
Hes on track to play round 1, whether that includes some minutes in the JLT or not i have no clue, currently on endurance training & some light skills

Leg amputated early this week, club getting mechanical leg built currently but will require the AFLs approval

Apparently he’s shot up to over 200cm

Can confirm, he has super-glued the amputated leg to the top of his head. Hes currently at 287cms.

Oh OK, I guess that we really cannot go with much right now. We’ll have to see how he slots into our side. Sounds like he may just end up a back-up for us.

From what Ive seen, hes pretty quick, strong at the contest, tenacious, disposal not great. He's been carrying an ankle for 12 months but is fully fit and reaping the rewards of a full preseason now. I'm hoping we're trying to turn him into a run with player, dont think we need him in the position hes been playing as we have a plethora of players who can play in that HHF slot. Excited to see what the coaches have in mind, he's definitely having a positive impact on the track
